I do still look forward to new chart music because there is always a few entries that enter that I wouldn't usually come across. Plus I pay more attention to positions 41-100 to see what I should be looking out for. I also have been paying attention to the album charts which has diversified my tastes in music massively (e.g. Jon Hopkins, Bicep, Gregory Porter, Tonight Alive) Overall I think my tastes have been refined. I dont tend to listen to what is popular much but I prefer to delve deeper and find songs that probably wouldn't enter the chart or chart very low only to disappear very quickly.

She needs to promote the album in the UK in order for the public to get onboard. Selling albums on name alone no longer works unless you're Adele (and she even toured her album - so thats saying something)

If that is the case then why didn't Diplomatic Immunity emulate the same success? Im not a fan of most of his songs (except the Take Care Era) but I admit they do have a catchy element to it

I dont think it matters which singles she releases, they will never chart high. She is an album artist (all three previous albums have amassed over 80 weeks in the top 100). Im just glad we have such a strong album from her and that she got her first Number 1.
