Thanks very much for Russia (and Romania when you get to it) - I'd be interested in all the Eastern European nations but I'm guessing for the most part it'd just be the odd Eurovision entry if anything!

It was a different address to send it to for that one but most of the artists they've picked are also in the German online selection, and the artists I've been working with did submit to both :(

Ultra Naté was another one of the artists I managed to get involved, there's another dance diva from a few years ago with an entry in the works too :)

She performed it on the Strictly Come Dancing launch show.

Switzerland are pursuing a similar national final format to last year, with an initial stage on the internet to select 6 entries, with a further 2 each coming from the French and Italian speaking broadcasters and 2 from a German language radio station. No reference to the fact that "Deeper Shade Of Blue" was also a cover of the original Tina Cousins version that flopped? Sadly the original is only around in remix form on youtube but I do like her version. "One For Sorrow" was the right winner in my opinion though!
