The work was mostly gooddelta's on 2023.

It turned out to be a rather ballad/slow song heavy year. We'll have 4 discs for 1989. Are there any songs you'd hope to see? We feel we've covered it well - certainly exceeding the Now Yearbook for that year - whenever that gets released.

This is just a post to alert all you wonderful people to the BuzzJack curated compilations project that myself, gooddelta and awardinary have undertaken. Welcome to BuzzJack presents… BuzzJack presents... is a project that gooddelta, awardinary and myself have been working on for a while now. It’s a project that we took on for a variety of reasons. Central to those reasons is that we feel that the Now series has lost its way recently. The numbered series often doesn’t showcase what’s been happening as well as it used to, and the Now Yearbooks series have been less than fulfilling, hampered by contractual obligations and licencing issues. In discussing these shortcomings, we often suggested that we could make a better attempt ourselves. In time, and with the help of other BuzzJack members, we hope to build a collection of compilations that can be enjoyed and also used as a starting point while investigating a particular era, genre or theme. Every member of BuzzJack is welcome to contribute to the project. At present, there are two ways that someone can contribute. Firstly, to work with one of our core team - awardinary, gooddelta and myself - to compile and sequence compilations (playlists on Spotify) based on a year, a genre or a theme. We have a set of guidelines which will be available to anyone who would like to contribute. Secondly, to produce artwork for each compilation - front cover and track listings for the back cover. At this point, I am taking care of this but anyone who has access to Adobe illustrator is very welcome to contribute. Index

Glad we're all so mature and sensible about this Just thinking that this incident could have torn a new hole in the contest if this had happened with a few notable historical members and all the drama that would have ensued from that.
You say that, but I went from 16th in the semi to 12th in the final.
Spodic Empire did better in the final than the semi.

Absolutely delighted with 11th place. Thanks for everyone that voted. Best ever result for the Empire capping a good first year in the contest.
