  1. 21 artists here are known to me also.
  2. Someone entered my back up entry if my original had been vetoed Buffy Sainte-Marie - The Big Ones Get Away 💕
  3. I'm in the same boat in some respects.
  4. Realistically I won't climb any higher as long as Dandy* doesn't mess up. When was the last time a huge streak came to an end? Not wanting to bring up traumatic events for anyone. 😕
  5. It's about time I started an imperial thread on my entries.
  6. I said to myself if I hit 10 consecutive Qs I would go rogue and risky af following that milestone. That remains to be seen.
  7. Colm posted a post in a topic in BuzzJack Song Contest
Her vocals remind me of Kate Bush on Freak Like Me. A very good thing.
  8. Delighted to get through. I wasn't confident at first but the reaction at the listen through gave me optimism. All my 10 got through to the final.
  9. It does seem to be quite popular.
  10. Thanks but you have managed to misunderstand my question a third time. Enjoy your yearbooks!
  11. You answered it by explaining the sequence of your preference or the sequence thus far. I wasn't challenging or asking you justify your preference. My question was much wider than that. Just simply why do you care about the order? If they get released in some other order, is that a significant inconvenience to you?
  12. I think you're missing my question. I'm not asking you to explain your justification about the sequence of release with years and decades. I'm asking why you care about the order at all.
  13. Ok but you're not telling me why you have a preference. Why is the order important? Surely it just matters that they get released.
  14. Can I ask why the order of release is something you have a preference for?
  15. Bulgaria is an all time top 5 Eurovison country for me now. I'm delighted that they finally got their win. Water certainly seems to be a lot more engaging than most other stuff that year. Quite hypnotic. Glad it did well. Never liked Beautiful Mess. But you can't argue with the jury and televote throwing points at it to such an extent. As gd pointed out, imaging getting +600 points and only coming second. It was a weak year I guess so the whole continent had eyes/ears for only a handful of songs. Angel Si Ti has a fairly ordinary chorus but I love everything else about it. The verse melody, the dramatic strings, the piano. A flawless vocal too. I find myself watching the winner's performance of Bangaranga more than the original performance. As discussed on Youtube, it couldn't have been any better if it was directed - the improvisation in the green room, by Dara and the dancers. The way she perfectly arrived at the top of the stairs to sing the first verse. The triumphant walk down the stairs. The way she skipped along the catwalk with the flags flying. One of the best Eurovision moments ever. Notable songs Tears Getting Sober ⭐⭐⭐⭐ If Love Was a Crime ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Angel Si Ti ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Bones ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Bangaranga ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
  16. How many months should I wait before I send my 24 minute electronic masterpiece? Ps - it does not sound the same the whole way through.

  18. Imagine? That was my life. #gooodtimes
  19. I've never had any trouble with synchtube on Android chrome
  20. tonyttt31. What was your username?
  21. Someone on CHC/Cool Clarity - which I joined 20 years ago this year. I've now known Dandy* and a few others for 2 decades.
  22. Zero. I sorta know what I like but I never know what others will like. I messed up a few times. There was a Club Bizarre edition on acid house/80s dance so, with my Unknown Pleasure hat on I went looking for something obscure and when the entries were announced I knew most of them and The Beloved won. I should have been able to do well in that. I came second in a spin-off. There can't be many people on this site that named two of the contests (Buzzjack Nuggets and The Best Song Contest in the world...Ever!) and never won anything.
  23. Everything I do is a work of art. It's been this way since the very start.
  24. If I had a street, this would be right up it. Narrowing down the options that I have.. Looking forward to discovering new artists.
  25. It's astonishing that the average Spice Girls single sold 800k copies.
