The inclusion of Australia is confusing - it's rarely mentioned as a classic Manics single. If You Tolerate This, Masses Against the Classes and Your Love is Not Enough are a bit more worthy in my opinion.
Plus NOTHING from genius albums like Mezzanine, In Sides, Endroducing and Six.

PS. "Poker Face" is so much more iconic than "Bad Romance" in my opinion. It's easily a formula for the perfect pop song, whereas "Bad Romance" kinda just expanded on the idea?
Exactly. Bad Romance has most more going for it than Poker Face. It's got more parts to it and every part is huge and full of melody. It's monumental in my eyes and ears. I even prefer Just Dance to Pokerface at this stage.

Some confusing placings. Poker Face is there but no Bad Romance? Nice to see Hope there's Someone and Pyramid Song in it but they still continue to ignore Mars Volta's Inertiatic ESP. Absolutely thrilled with the inclusion of Radiohead's Let Down considering it wasn't a single. The piece on A Design for Life actually sounds like they really want it to be number 1 (which of course it should be).

I have to say. Buzzjack is amazing. The sheer ingenuity and invention that goes into presenting one of these things is what makes life worth while. The commentary is rarely if ever less than spot on. Love the pics too. Same with the Cloose in the Buzzchart. I've threatened to leave a few times and I'm really glad I didn't. It's entertaining and enriching in equal measure.

True.. Pioneers of Electronica is probably a pretty apt description... ;) And the tunes are pretty cool.. Good to have the Hartnoll boys back... And, NOT actually doing a film soundtrack album like so many of their early 90s peers (eg Trent Reznor, Daft Punk or Chemical Brothers) seem to be getting into these days... :lol: Although "Never" would've been quite a nice fit on the "Drive" soundtrack...
They did a soundtrack in 2003 - didn't they?

I've had it for a week now. It hasn't really clicked with me. I hope tt's a grower. I haven't become obsessed with it like I did with Insides - which slowly rose and rose and is now my 5th favourite album of all time. By the initial sounds it is probably going to be my second fave taking the place of The Middle of Nowhere. -
