  1. I didn't disown it, really. I utterly love it. :w00t:
  2. That awful moment when you listen to your BJSC entry and you don't really enjoy it as much as you expect.
  3. So Chan Whee - Tears is so Eurovision 2004
  4. I'm up for this tonight
  5. 22nd running order ๐Ÿ˜•
  6. It's just great to hear the sound of Blur again.
  7. Entry submitted. Willfully challenging ourselves to get nul points in the semis this time around.
  8. I do wonder if the Eurovision community is worse than say, for example, the Premier League community, for toxicity (can't think of others right now).
  9. This has really bucked the trend of early running order killing off songs in the televote. She outperformed everyone else in the first 8 entries by a margin of at least 23 points - Cyprus scored 58 while Poland scored 81.
  10. I'd prefer if the jury's marking parameters were changed rather than dropping their points contribution from 50%. If feels a little less contrived that way.
  11. Wow. That's bad form.
  12. I have to disagree with you there a tiny bit. They had a moment and it was rather huge with the whole stadium going mental.
  13. Sweden not getting any 12s in the televote demonstrates nothing. If a country gives Sweden a 10 then that's still a lot of people supporting the song. She came second in the televote. Second. That's better than Sweden have done since 2015. They've not managed to come top 5 in the televote since 2015. It's clearly a very popular song with the people too.
  14. This is what needs discussing. Were all juries acting independently or was there any guidance from the EBU on which entry to vote for, either explicitly or implicitly?
  15. If anyone is at fault for how much the juries were biased towards Tattoo (and that is a very big IF) it's not Loreen or Sweden. The Eurovision community can be so toxic at times and I see that every time I go near twitter. Why do people have to be actively nasty? They do it to and about the artists and also to reactors and YouTubers and to other fans. What is the point?
  16. Trying hard to not become the Sporadic Empire, TSE will be rethinking its internal selection criteria this month.
  17. Great to see Croatia getting high marks from the rest of the world. It's utter genius.
  18. As much as I'd love France to be top 3 I've heard her vocals were shaky during the jury show last night.
  19. Austria are kinda screwed now. Televotes for opening entries since 2016 2016 Belgium 51 2017 Israel 5 2018 Ukraine 119 2019 Malta 20 2021 Cyprus 44 2022 Czechia 5
  20. Croatia absolutely merits a top 10 place. It's among the most inventive and musical songs this year. The verses are flat but the part where it goes all over the place is genius. There's great harmonies in the operatics and there's a really strong melody in the "Onaj mali psihopat, Mali, podli psihopat" part. Plus the singer can sing very well when he doesn't have a cold - like he had during semi 1.
  21. Austria have given up any hope of televote success in the final by not bringing their video concept to the stage. Still hoping for a top 1o finish though. Austria and Georgia are the only two that I actively seek out to listen to. At least 5 songs worse than Latvia's will qualify ๐Ÿ˜ก
  22. On my way. Who's around tonight?
  23. Looking back at the quality that Bulgaria sent between 2016 and 2021 I still feel sad that they have chosen to withdraw.
