I liked Dont Say You're Love is Killing Me. The chorus saves it. I wasn't a huge fan of Always or Run to the Sun. I grew to like Always quite a lot since then but Run to the Sun still feels a bit empty - despite a decent riff.

Love Voulez Vous. It's my second favourite from that EP

any guesses of the opening songs for each of the 4 discs?

It's unacceptable that S.O.S is out already. Vince's synth work is incredible. Listening on headphones is advised.

Expect Spodic votes after 10pm

GOAT 🐐

I will definitely comment on the results.

Damn. I can't rate for a few hours.

Expecting air-guitar anthems a plenty.

I was quite surprised when it didn't make number 1 that week. There was so much hype about it and it seemed like a landmark release.

The Spodic people have a great fondness for ridiculous music which is borne out in their entry, for this contest.

Should I go with my plan or panic-pick something else?

What does that mean?

The layers of Resurrection are so well done. Gotta Get Thru This is also great. I also love Where's your Head At and Everybody is certainly Hear'say's best single.

Love that Kosheen song, pcf

I will take part. Gonna give the later songs a spin.

Primal Scream - Miss Lucifer is one of my favorites from 2002. I'd forgotten about Idlewild.

It was an interesting time for rock with System of a Down and Interpol. Muse were blowing away the competition for me. The Libertines seemed to arrive fully formed with songs that seemed to already exist before they were written.

Why was Live Forever on Now 99? I remember being disappointed that it wasn't on Now 29.

should I prepare shredded wheat in advance?

Haha. Disc 3 needs to have sone sort of health warning. :(

Also, we're engaging advanced graphics software now. We hope you will enjoy somewhat more complex front covers without losing our brand identity.

I love that A1 song.

Delighted that Emerge is on this. I don't have fond memories of 2002. Some of my least favorite songs ever are from that year. This compilation shows that there was plenty of quality, though. It's great to have the opportunity to re-assess a year.

Semi 2 is very strong. So much so that Spodic Exit is assured
