Really surprised but pleased Krista won. It was my favourite amongst the finalists, but I'd dismissed it's chances as soon as I first heard it! Will be interesting to see how it does at Eurovision.

THANK GOD FOR THAT! I missed it all, but I'm so pleased the right song won through. Bombo grew on me so much over the past week, but it would have been so wrong if it had triumphed over the far more supremely talented Margaret Berger. It's a shame Malta can't ditch that absolutely drip of an entry and steal Bombo for themselves really.

Predictions: DTF: Sean Banan & Anton Ewald AC: Louise Hoffsten & SHW 5th: Erik & Tone 6th: Joacim Cans 7th: Rikard Wolff 8th: Felicia Olsson I do think Louise Hoffsten will steal the oldies vote tonight leaving Joacim and Rikard out of the running. Unless she pulls off a stunning performance, Felicia is completely out of the picture too. I think Erik & Tone will sadly suffer also. The audience Erik appeals to will be too busy voting for Sean and Anton and the audience the song might appeal to will probably be voting for Louise. Meanwhile, SHW should have a firm enough fanbase to get them through to AC in this heat I think/hope.

One has to think, why would they hold the album back so long and why on earth would she be supporting Blue otherwise? :lol: I so want this to be true but I don't want to get too excited as part of me is still expecting it to be Adam Ant or Dexy's that ends up being our entry :(

If the record in question is the highest points one then yes it would be likely that the eventual winner will landslide it the same way Silly Boy did. I'm trying to work out which track it might be and I'm thinking it could either be Skirts or Northern Lights.

All 4 tracks there are pretty good. Alex Leon's my favourite, but I'll be happy with whatever they decide to enter.

Current record for most points scored in a semi final is 170 which was achieved by Kathaldazia with Eva Simons' Silly Boy. Lowest points record is jointly held by Herzebania with Martina's Idi Leda Mi Okreni and New Caprica with B.A.P.'s Warrior. Both scored 1 point.

The way she says "Corazón" sounds a bit off to me. I'm not claiming to be an expert on the Spanish language, but I certainly haven't heard it sung like that before. If it does get chosen then it'll be my second favourite entry so far, but I'd rather Norway sent something that wasn't quite so generic two years in a row, and last year was hardly a rip roaring success! Especially when they have the option of sending a sound that hasn't really been tried before at the contest, aside from possibly t.A.T.u. Plus I'm not sure Europe quite understands it when Scandinavia goes a bit more international with their entries, they barely understood Tooji last year and the least said about the performance of Haba Haba and Ven A Bailar Conmigo in the scoring, the better.

My main gripe with Bombo is Adelen's Spanish. It's worse than Belorussian English!

Wow, that is a bit mad! I'd have thought Russia might like I Feed You My Love though, it's not hugely different to stuff that t.A.T.u. released! I think Margaret will appeal to a wider audience than Plumbo, hopefully! Lawson might stick around for a few weeks yet, but #1 is out of the question I'm afraid!
