Not sure what to think about Les Misrables really, on one hand some of the songs (I Dreamed A Dream included) sound brilliant, but then I've seen clips where they look like they sing every word in the entire film and I can't be dealing with that :lol: Great to see WT's Skyfall cover holding up well too, I much prefer it to the original!

Not surprised this failed really if the might that is Allergic could only cause a slight ripple in MGP. I am however surprised Tom Hugo didn't qualify over Vidar's entry! 28. Justin Timberlake feat Jay-Z - Suit & Tie (NEW) (CR-28) So dated! It sounds like something that should have been on the Justified album! 36. Darin - Playing With Fire (NEW) (CR-36) Not liking this as much as Nobody Knows, but it's decent enough. Quite looking forward to the album! 37. Thanks Luke! I was expecting the MHIRM video to have been released a while ago! She should be concentrating on releasing another new single by now! I wasn't that keen on previous Stoffer & Maskinen material, but Byens Tage is much more my sort of thing! Looking forward to their new album! TC's going ok, Canada have won the two most recent editions with The Birthday Massacre and Dragonette. We haven't had a Czech entry since May last year though! 08 - Very quickly! :o :lol:

I've not got a definite entry yet but I'll hopefully find something suitable by the end of the week. I'll probably send one of the songs I'm deliberating over sending to BJSC. Speaking of BJSC, the registration for new participants is now open again ahead of the 51st edition starting this week, so if anyone wants to take part we'll welcome you with open arms! The contest has in recent times become far more "indie friendly" so it might appeal to a number of you now! If you've already registered or taken part before then you're welcome to return also!

Norway hate the fempop entries so I'm not surprised they all failed, but I am surprised Tom Hugo didn't progress over Vidar.

You never know, how many of the people taking part here now took part in the first 2 years of the contest? With so many newcomers and shifts in music taste, anything could happen!

Surely a good thing? Imagine if we had sent Cyndi in 2007? We'd probably have been the only "Western" nation in the top 10!

Vocals really aren't everything at Eurovision (Hi Ell & Nikki!), so as long as the singer can vaguely hold a tune it's fine. Kimberley's more than capable of that given her previous experience in the West End.

Same, where on earth did this idea that nobody under the age of 25 likes it come from?! I'm surprised she was rejected this year, but then that song has absolutely nothing on Tu te reconnaîtras.

That rumour has been floating about on Twitter for a week or two now. I wouldn't be surprised if it turned out to be true though! She's linked to the BBC, Fredrik's got the Eurovision link, Kimberley's linked to the Girls Aloud rumour and the song is 3 minutes long. All that's missing is the confirmation of a key change on the track :lol:
