I'm sadly not holding out much hope for this. '71 Charger was ok but Hate The Way I Love You was utter dirge. I get that she is aiming for a particular 'sound' on this album, but it's so far removed from her previous work that I just feel completely alienated by it. Paper Light, I'm In It With You, Statements, Body and Jungle all deserve album treatment but none of them are present here which is a huge shame.

So glad Dotter is rumoured to be entering, I've loved pretty much all of her singles to date (new single Rebellion is out tomorrow), plus she co-wrote A Million Years too - you can really hear her influence on that track.

Wow, really pleased to have reached the final and so happy to read all the positive feedback for Into Deep over the past week or so. Glad so many people are liking it!

Have trawled through them all (listened to about 20 seconds of each). Nothing spectacular really. Stardust In Universe, Staccato and Sapnu Dziesma were my favourites. Soledad is Latvia's rather amusing nod to Despacito.

Glad you're liking it! :D I'm not at all confident in it though. I love it but it's very much a grower and it was all I had to enter this month. I have a feeling it'll match the level of success my first entry had which given that BJSC 26 was a OBF format means Marnie is a borderline qualifier at the very best! In a futile attempt to drum up interest, for those who didn't already know/work out, Marnie is the lead singer from Ladytron!

Thanks guys ^_^ I'm sad to be leaving the role as I've loved working alongside the other mods and playing a part in the running of this area of the forum, but having just accepted a full time job and with my uni course continuing in a couple of months time, I won't be able to find the time needed to commit to the moderating role. I'm not sure if Caerfyrddia will continue to enter the contest, we'll have to see how much spare time I have after I start my new job tomorrow, but if this is the end of the road then I'm so happy to have had the opportunity to host a regular edition of the contest and having had 3 top 10's in a row and an appearance in the BJFestivalen final, which is an unprecedented string of good results for Caerfyrddia in this contest, it does seem like the best time to bow out (before the inevitable return to DNQs occurs!). We'll see though! Good luck to whoever is chosen as my replacement! I'm sure you'll have a lot of fun!

It does have its merits, but I do prefer the vast majority of my other entries to it. I'm pleased you liked it a lot though! :D
