Fair enough. It also debuts at #1 in Canada.

...but you were using it as a criticism, therefore pointing out how shaky that comparison was.

30 seconds of the video!!!
I agree with the criticism of the first clip; after all the hype and teasers the dancing and overall feel was quite frankly meh. The second clip however is VASTLY superior (the editing looks outstanding). Hoping that the more chilled out/emotive music breakdown thing that was used in teaser #11 appears in the official video too, I would love her for that. Pretty much back on to being excited for this.

Regina, a bit of a fail comparison there. Yesterday it was at #11 on US Airplay with an estimated Audience Impression of 74 million, up 10.5 million. I agree with Jark, her success in the US is pretty fascinating to watch at the moment.

Lady GaGa Presents The Monster Ball at Madison Square Garden
Promo ZVYNhgaEhzM&feature=player_embedded Also, GaGa has confirmed that a special guest will perform at MSG with her. I think it's pretty obvious that it will be Beyonce; it would be good promo for her aswell.

Lady GaGa Presents The Monster Ball at Madison Square Garden
Almost definitely I would have thought; glad that it did turn out to be true, didn't want to make such a dramatic announcement only for it not to happen (and obviously, also because I've been desperate to see the full tour for ages now). It would be a pretty iconic moment if Beyonce did decide to turn up to perform Telephone with her. Another nice promotion for the new era as well.

S02E14: 'Blame It On The Alcohol'
Hopefully it pans out that way, I can't bear to see them drag out yet another inevitable relationship. I agree, and it reached car crash proportions last episode. It's Murphy pandering to the internet fans to make pretty much every shipper fanbase going happy; I don't think I've seen a show do it to the extremes that Glee does.

Lady GaGa Presents The Monster Ball at Madison Square Garden
According to another Lady GaGa forum, she is expected to announce that HBO (which would therefore also mean Sky Atlantic) will be broadcasting the Monster Ball Tour. Don't take it as 100% confirmed however; we will just have to wait and see if it's true. If this does happen, it also bodes well for a DVD release too. EDIT: Confirmed, her gig at Madison Square Garden will be recorded and aired on HBO on May 7th. ZVYNhgaEhzM&feature=player_embedded

- What Is The Scariest Movie Ever?
You have a point about Eli, and the tone was quite cold and chilling, but I found the ending to be moving with ominious undertones rather than flat out sinister. Eli clearly felt a strong connection to Oskar and I thought that he wasn't just intending to use him to be the next guy to find him food. I think I even shed a tear at the ending, which is why I don't really classify it as scary, rather a love story and a story of adolencese told using horror conventions. Great! although it leaves you more shaken and disturbed rather than being chilling and unnerving like Paranormal Activity. There was a point I had to stop and have a break because I was shaking so much. Nice to see some more appreciation for Wolf Creek too. I would class Se7en and Final Destination as more of a thriller though. EDIT: And I agree, can't wait for the last two [Rec.] movies, they've done an excellent job of building a mythology to the point where I think a prequel is essential. Also, the ending of the second film means the last film can go pretty much anywhere in terms of scope.- What Is The Scariest Movie Ever?
I used to be literally TERRIFIED of going to sleep on my own when I was younger because I thought the creeper was going to get me. I had to make sure that my curtains were drawn tight so he couldn't see me, and my covers pulled right over me so he couldn't smell me or tug me from my bed without me realising. I was like 10 at the time to be fair  I think people can fear things rather irrationally when your about to go to sleep, I guess because your loopy with tiredness and at your most vunerable. Also, nice choice russt68 with the Orphange and Irreversible. The Texas Chainsaw got my blood pounding, and was disturbing (especially when the old granny/grandad that looked like a corpse was trying to hit her with a hammer, seriously f***ed up) but never found it particularly scary. I had such high expectations for it as well, same goes for the Exorcist.- Grammy Awards 2011
She's already won it.- Grammy Awards 2011
Mumford & Sons; such a great song.- Grammy Awards 2011
I'm not going to lie Justin looked HOT in that performance.- Grammy Awards 2011
A lot of awards were given out pre-telecast. I think it's all about the performances to keep the people watching. She was a gogo dancer, so she does have some experience. I think a lot of the time she is inhibited by the elaborate costumes she wears, but she was wearing something which gave her a lot of space to move. The symbolism of the egg and the performance was all rather fantastic, typical Gaga but not too extreme.- Grammy Awards 2011
That's good enough for me. And I have no idea, I didn't hear anything other than Born This Way, but the organ section could be a possibility. He has a very punchable face, but I thought it was a rather soulful performance.- Grammy Awards 2011
I have a love/hate thing with Bruno Mars, but I'm rather enjoying this.- Grammy Awards 2011
Maybe it's because a lot of people are viewing/trying to reply in this thread? Glad I'm not the only one.- Grammy Awards 2011
It's hard to tell sarcasm, especially when it seemed like an attack. You apolgised though, so it's all kool.- Grammy Awards 2011
I take it I'm not the only one who is suffering from Buzzjack loading like a bitch. EDIT: More adverts!? Lord help me.- Grammy Awards 2011
It depends on whether you begrudge her for that fact, to be honest I think it's suitably different from Express Yourself despite the clear influence. She clearly didn't think people wouldn't notice, or that she would get away from it - it's Madonna. It's harking back to the 80s and if you wanted to say it copied any song it would be this one but again I think it's inspiration for a 00s version of that club classic and that Madonna empowerment song rather than a rip off. Or maybe I'm very naive, who knows.- Grammy Awards 2011

This, although I think she realises that there's only so much you can do, and she concentrated more on the dancing/chereography, and from what I can remember, it might very well be her best.- Grammy Awards 2011
The chereography was indeed something special, the organ/piano breakdown isn't that different from most of her live performances, but it offered a different pace to the song which was needed. Overall, thought it was indeed a great performance. Loved the finish aswell. - S02E14: 'Blame It On The Alcohol'
