They are rather ridiculous, but it's not just the adverts, product placements are everywhere and completely random. The Glee loon deep inside of me is hoping they will manage a win. EDIT: Oh well.

Lots of people are saying it was a fail, but I don't see what was THAT wrong with it. Also, judging from the coming up clip, Gaga performance shouldn't be too long. EDIT: Oh, forgot we are going to be subject to a bombard of adverts. Also it's funny to see how similar our adverts are, commercialisation at its finest!

That was an incredible performance, even if Christina completely OVERSANG.

http://www.directon.tv/channels/664/ Lucky Edward sent me the link to CBS, otherwise I'd be in the same position.

Maybe it's resting on the floor in front of her seat :P? Still, pretty chill place to be, could get a quick nap in if she so wanted. Oh, oh, oh Florence!

I take it the interview is over? Shame I tuned in so late. And I think she might just be, the leaked document had her as "performance A".

Cheers! EDIT: Rather enjoying this interview, she's coming of well and it's nice to see her laidback.

I'm watching the Red Carpet live, I didn't know you could watch the interview now. Could you link me up Chris please?

Just got back from making a sandwich to find the GODDESS that is Florence Welch on my computer screen.

I thought that was also part of the main show?

I will be shocked if Eminem doesn't get it, it's really his year. To be honest I think either three would be worthy winners, although I'd prefer GaGa or Arcade Fire.

    Naya Rivera looks stunning!

Why would they have Best Pop Vocal in the pre-telecast ceremony. I thought it was one of the main awards? Anyway well done to Gaga, two awards so far isn't shabby. I'm kind of hoping Arcade Fire gets best album though.

I will be trying to stay up to watch this, despite having school in the morning BECAUSE I AM A FEARLESS BASTARD Also, I've got to say, that is conceptually a pretty genius idea. Visually representing a death and birth of an era, I'm kind of in awe. I'm trying hard not to sound like too much of a loon here.
  20. Nice call Severin with Let the Rigt One In and Alien. Although while I would class LTROI as horror I don't find it scary as such. Same goes for most of the critically acclaimed horrors, I can appreiciate the craft though.
  21. Looks like K-Pop isn't working quite as well as it did for me with f(x) last time. O dear.

So it's been a whole year since The Hurt Locker won Best Film, and cliche as it sounds, it really has gone by fast. So who's going to be watching? Who do you think will win, who do you want to win? Who will cause an upset, if there is even going to be one? Well I think it's clear The King Speech's is going to win either Best Film or Best British Film, although I think they are going to go all the way with this and give it both (a bit greedy if they do). Personally I'm hoping it does an Atonement, which was the last British film that was nominated 14 times, and doesn't sweep it. Colin Firth should and will get Best Actor (which is deserved) and it deserves costume design as well, it got the period spot on as far as I could tell, and they were very nice to look at too (especially Bonham-Carter, who was very well dressed throughout). I'm hoping though The Social Network will get Best Film and Another Year will grab Best British Film (it was one of, if not the, best film of 2010 and it is getting criminally overlooked). If Lesley Manville doesn't win best supporting actress, I may just have to go and kick a puppy. Best Film not in the English language is EXCEPTIONALLY strong, although I would rather Dogtooth replace Biutiful (I can see why Javier Bardem was nominated, but best film?) but the winner should be the sublime Of Gods and Men, which would be a second great winner in a row after A Prophet won last year (is it me or are foreign language films more impressive at the moment than English language films?). I'm also surprised and glad The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo was given some recognition as well, terrific film and I'm split between supporting Noomi Repace and Portman to get the Best Actress award, I'd be happy with either. Pete Postlethwaite may cause an upset in the Best Supporting Actor catergory if taking into account his untimely death (I have yet to see The Town so I can't comment on whether he was a good as Bale - I doubt it though). Okay, so highlighted are my choices, the italics are for who I think will win. 23. I reiterate The Descent and [REC.] The Blair Witch Project will most likely always remain my most scary movie ever. Jeepers Creepers is also pretty good (at least the first half) I haven't seen it in years but it terrified me when I was younger, had a few sleepless nights over that one  The Descent l5I1q4KhKNU [REC.] OeaUokzE9fI Blair Witch Project D51QgOHrCj0 Jeepers Creepers ouUO42AkZV0 Them http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yFTbcDRkG1o which was remade into The Strangers is decent. And depending on where you stand, there are a few other French films like Martyrs http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZNM9kKo4JNU which are quite good, but some people think they are too extreme. EDIT: Also, Wolf Creek is v v good. Best to watch without reading about it, as it works best with its shocks in tact. QEpvw51xubU
  24. I think Roman's Revenge is practically a single already (in the US anyway). They leaked the song to hype the album, and it's already got got a US iTunes single release with Lil' Wayne. Which is why I think Nicki referenced it in Moment 4 Life, as it's already well known enough for her to use it as an example of her multiple personalities, not because it will be her next WW release. Fly is the only logical choice for her next WW single to build on the success Moment 4 Life has had.
  25. Sorry it's been an hour since you gave the go ahead, had to speed through the songs I hadn't listened to. Don't know if it's too late or not. Have to reiterate what everyone has been saying; it's been a fabulous contest...so many changes at the bottom with a literal last minute change before I sent them. EDIT: Thanks Robot ^_^
