BJSC Twenty Seven < in > FSR Rontvia
I guess I've grown so acoustumed to hearing GG sing it, that I think the opposite, her voice doesn't really suit the beat to me. And  I guess one persons mess is anothers gain, I love the chorus when they all sing together, and Tiffany smashes it at the end (the one who sings the big notes). I've shown this to my K-Pop loving friend, and she really likes it. I think despite prefering GG's version, this is still a really solid dance track, I will love the beat no matter who sings over it

Zechonia National Thread
Mimicry – Heat - Amazing beats, but I agree with Cian in that her voice isn't as strong, but she does the whole scorned thing very well :P Gentleman - It No Pretty - Love this, love the vocals  Donots – Calling - An all round good song. ...... ...... ...... Renfue - I've Said Too Much - I like the vocals, but the song itself is weak. White Rabbits - Percussion Gun - It's a bit weak in my opinion, the beat is good, but the vocals let it down for me. These are the only two songs I don't like. The first three would all make a good entry in my opinion. And I echo the statements already made that Lie Lie Lie is amazing.

A Song for Buzzjack
30 Seconds to Mars is one of my favourite bands and This Is War is a magnificent album, Hurricane would almost be guranteed points from me, the same goes for Paramore and The Smiths, I love all three songs already. The Smiths might be a good choice, as some people on here are Charmed fans, and will be familar as a cover of this is used as the theme for the show. The other two songs were new to me; I'm not too keen on All Time Low's song, the weakest of the bunch for me. However, I loved listening to Palladium's High 5, a great song and discovery for me. I would personally rank them like this. 30 Seconds to Mars - Hurricane The Smiths - How Soon Is Now? Paramore - We Are Broken Palladium - High Five ... ... ... All Time Low - Wieghtless

BJSC Twenty Seven < in > FSR Rontvia
I didn't even know it existed :o And the whole point of me sending it was to encourage people to listen to K-Pop and to introduce people to Girls' Generation (one of my favourite girlbands ever). So it would have defeated the purpose. There were other GG songs I was thinking about sending too, but Genie was easily the most BJSC-friendly one, unless I went with their version of Run Devil Run mahsed up with Ke$ha's demo. Plus as biased as I may be, I prefer their version anway :kink: Especially the lyrics and the production seems stronger in GG's version. But thanks for posting that.

What would you like to see from Season 2?
I don't think this would be a good idea as, like most ensemble shows, the show as at the top of it's game when they are together. Seperate them and I think it will go stale more quickly, plus we will have to witness the eventual coming-back-together storyline anyway. But, I do think each character should have more of an individual storyline next year, which is why I think each episode should focus on a different character. Preggers was argubably a Kurt episode and was one of the seasons best, and a great stand alone story. Also, maybe changing the scenery a bit, have some of them travel somewhere: Anyways here's my ideas for characters next year, although I think it will be easier to do after we see what happens in the finale. Rachel: If Nude Erections New Directions win, maybe the Glee Club will get a lot of press attention, which will spark Rachel into trying to break into broadway. Rents an apartment in New York and hijinks ensue as shes tries any means necessary to get any part (also if rumours are true that Michelle wants to leave Glee in the near future to pursue other projects than this could lead to a nice ending in the S2 finale, where she is finally cast in a play, and it ends with Will or Finn giving her a little pep talk, before she goes on to the big stage, the curtains go up on her opening night and just as she is about to sing the episode ends ) Finn: Starts his own rock band, and gets sucked into the whole rock n' roll scene. Deals with daddy issues. Becomes closer with Santana (I think Santana was really 'open' (:kink:) with Finn in 'Power of Madonna', and would make an interesting couple.) Will: Plans to marry Emma. Emma: Still doesn't 100% trust Will, meets another person with OCD, and through helping her dealing with her issues, she solves her own obsessions at the same time. Sue: I like GrAmii's idea, of Sue becoming sick of Figgins, and aiming to take over as Principle to get cheerios more funding. More 'Dear Journal...' moments  Mercedes: Becomes Head Cheerio, the power begins to corrupt her :P Also as Rachel takes a more backseat role, after she starts to spend more time in New York trying to break into broadway, she becomes the main female singer. Kurt: Quinn: Dealing with motherhood, trying to mend realtionship with parents. Single. Puck: Struggles to settle down, proposes to Quinn towards the end of the season. The third season could focuse on them as a married couple with a baby. Artie: Tries to find a way to get surgery to get out of his wheelchair. Tina: Becomes friends with another misunderstood goth. Begins a kinky open relationship with Artie :P Santana: Finally admits her feelings to Brittany, although the bisexual begins an affair with Finn after she gets fed up with Brittany's stupidity. Brittany: Continues with her comedy relief role, likes Santana, but doesn't quite get the implications of what Santana wants out of her and doesn't understand what a 'serious' relationship is. Is upset when Sanatana stops seeing her.

Big Brother 11 (The Last Ever Series)
I loved Noirin too, loved her argument with Bea on her last day. Let all her feelings out  Plus the indian guy was laugh a minute during the early weeks, but I loathed him, and I mean really loathed him towards the end of his stay. I was so angry after he insulted Freddie about his dyslexia in the kitchen, and the way wormed his way into the popular group and looked down on everyone else; he had a nasty, horrible personality. I remember having a massive debate with somone about that Freddie incident, who thought he was entertaining and should stay, on This Is Big Brother. It was like essay length, full of higlighted points and everything. I think I've still got it in my documents  And Bea provided so much entertainment, one of the most hated and manipulative housemates ever (my favourite 'villain' since Grace in BB7) and to think when she first went everyone thought she was going to be the fun, Phoebe-ish/hippy person of the house; and loads of people (myself included) thought she was going to win it LOL @ how that turned out :P

What would you like to see from Season 2?
Of course, I want an equal balance of drama and comedy, I was just thinking of the drama side of things  And yes, yes, yes for Sue becoming principle for an episode, and Figgins can become the janitor she abuses :kink: I think everyone is thinking this, Murphy has said frequently that he has storylines planned up to Season Four, and that the cast will never graduate, but hopefully after being hated on for dragging out Nip/Tuck, he has learnt from his mistakes.
-
What would you like to see from Season 2?
Another reason she should keep it :kink: also I hope next year they do a Lost or a Skins, and have each week focusing on a different character as well as the 'issue of the week' so for example Episode 1 could focus on Quinn with the issue of 'responsibility'.
-
Who do you think will win the Regionals?
They only have to place at Regionals, they don't have to win it.
-
What would you like to see from Season 2?
I think she will keep it, I hope she does anyway, it would make for some interesting storylines. It would be interesting to see her raise the baby as a single mother, and to see Puck being forced to mature and how he deals with it. Quinn is a very likeable character, one of my favourites, and from the pilot I don't think anyone would have guessed how far she has come; I think the only other way they will handle it is by her giving away the baby, have an episode dealing with her guilt, and then have the rest of her arch in Season Two being her trying to 'get her respect back' like she wanted to in 'Bad Reputation'. That could work if done right, but I think it would be a step back in her devlopment, and I think there is more potential for storylines if she keeps the baby. Other than wanting Quinn to deal with motherhood, I can't think of anything else. The obvious one is Kurt getting a boyfriend, Perhaps a character being being killed off? I know that seems extreme, but I would like to see how they would handle a storyline like that.

FORMAT POLL
Should the all-in-one format used in BJSC XXVI stay as a permanent feature? : YES What aspect did you like the most about the new format? : Everyone involved + new points system What feedback do you have on the new format? To be fair this is my first time playing in the BJSC, so my opinon might not be as valuable, but I love it for the fact everyone gets a shot, and I quite enjoyed working my way through all the songs; comparing, listing them, seeing who dropped and rised. I think the more the merrier. Plus, some people have openly said how they took risks because of the format, we may lose the diversity and a few gems if we had semis again.

I know, Flyleaf are sex for the ears (so jelous my friends got to see them live), and that is my favourite song by them. I definitely think this is what I will be entering, unless I suddenly fall in love with another song.

bjsc_twenty six :: THE GRAND FINALE
We both gave eachother 10 points :P and no problem No problem, thankyou all for great entries :) You just missed out on points (you're 16th on my list), and you were in it until last minute shuffling pushed you back out. It wasn't until after I voted, when I started to listen to the entries more casually, that I started to really appreciate it. I now feel like our country has betrayed you :drama: but thanks for the nine points  Also thanks ojnoj and I think there were another one or two countries that gave me points, thankyou to whoever they were :)

Elëdan

New Caprica National Thread
Well the second Sunshine track has vocals, which is the main difference, and it also features an older version of the track that was ripped from the movie itself. The official, studio version of the track wasn't released until almost a year and a half after the film came out :drama: And oh, I love the arrangement of the live version of In My Heart, mainly just for the bit between 3.01 and 3.17  maybe you would like the studio version better? BjvTeDUl3ls Thanks for the feedback Zechhh :) Oh, and I'm loving this at the moment as well; xN0FFK8JSYE

Ashton - The National Thread [v2.0]
No problem, it is a great song. But I still hope your hint in the voting thread, means you are going to enter The Liar and the Lighter  but it's all about what you love, so go with whatever (or another song completely). And hahaha I know what you mean, when I listen to Girls' Generation's albums, I get the general idea by the production: upbeat = happy/jolly/in love; slow beat = sad/longely/depressed/dumped. Or if I can find them, I look at the lyrics, read them once so I get the general gist and that's me done. Or wikipedia is your friend, also youtube comments on their videos are useful (that's how I found what Hoppipolla was all about). But anyways, here is a snippet from tomorrows edition of the New Caprican Post - "According to early national polls, the New Caprican people have taken both potential songs that are in contention to represent Ashton for BSJC27 to their hearts, and when asked, 'Are you looking forward to future entries from Ashton?" the result was a resounding yes with over 90% saying they are"
