Harry Potter & The Deathly Hallows: Part 1 & 2
You're right there :P I just think Fiennes plays him well and he looks like how I imagined Voldermort. By the way, sorry for all the mistakes in my last post. Kinda embarassing really - I blame it on lack of sleep. And Jark, why do you not like the movie's version of V?

Harry Potter & The Deathly Hallows: Part 1 & 2
Exactly, I can see it being a Dark Knight Joker moment - I think that best describes how intense I think that scene should be, and how I think Bellatrix should act (and HBC is a phenomenal actress who, as you said, will have no problem pulling it off) and tbh it's probably one of the scenes I'm most looking forward to. I really can't wait for November. Personally, I think how they have portrayed V is probably one of the few things the movies have got spot on - Fiennes is electrifying and his acting is, I think, the best of the lot alongside HBC and Alan Rickman. His fight scene with Dumbledore is one of the best, and most intense, scene of any HP movie - Fiennes was terrifying in every aspect of the character, especially how he was made to look - I think judging from that scene alone he (and as I said above HBC) have the potential to be as exhilarating crazy as the Joker was in the Dark Knight. I think one of the only times the film portrayal of a character is just as good as the picture I have painted in my head. I agree with you in that the sheer amount of cutting of important character moments and scenes will mean the last HP won't be as emotionally satisfying as it could have been (for exmaple Dobby's death won't be nearly as hard hitting as in the books as he hasn't been seen since Chamber of Secrets). However, I think they have a shot at making this really good now that they have two films to tell the story. I just hope they see sense and don't try and water everything down; what I think would be a good idea is if they released two edits - one for the kiddies and one for the older audiences - that way they can please everyone and maybe bring in people who otherwise wouldn't watch it simply because they see it as a being a 'kids film', although obviously that won't happen.

Harry Potter & The Deathly Hallows: Part 1 & 2
Now that's just sick :P but I do agree, I hope that scene forces the best acting out of Emma and Rupert. I just hope they don't strip/tone it down out of fear of upsetting the younger audience even though Deathly Hallows is really a young adult book and is not really aimed at the same age group as the earlier films were.

This, love that line  Oh, and I want the Top Two to be Rachel and Sue although I think the top three will be; 3rd) Rachel 2nd) Kurt 1st) Sue

Harry Potter & The Deathly Hallows: Part 1 & 2
Hell yeah, I would pay to watch a spin-off of just Bellaxtrix Lestrange being, well strange :P And most of the movies so far have made big changes to the books, so this shouldn't be any different. My guess is that they will most likely trim down a lot of the camping scenes and have more scenes focusing on what's going on in the outside world - something the books narrative couldn't really do as we are forced to see everything through Harry's eyes.

Kick Ass
Some of my favourite quotes :D Verdict: Evil Rating: 1 out of 5 "The biggest problem of the movie, creatively speaking, is that it has pretensions to intelligence but is profoundly, irredeemably bone-headed." "Like an even younger version of the baby- faced Oriental assassin in Tarantino's Kill Bill 1. Paedophiles are going to adore her." "She's fetishised in precisely the same way as Angelina Jolie in the Lara Croft movies, and Halle Berry in Catwoman." "As if that isn't exploitative enough, she's also shown in a classic schoolgirl pose, in a short plaid-skirt with her hair in bunches, but carrying a big gun." "...And she makes comments unprintable in a family newspaper" "Children carrying knives are not cool, but a real and present danger." "Underage sex isn't a laugh. Recent government figures revealed that in this country more than 8,000 children under the age of 16 conceive every year." "Worldwide child pornography is a multi-billion dollar industry. In Africa and South America, brutalised youngsters who kill and rape are rightly feared as members of feral gangs or child soldiers." "...Is presented with calculated flippancy, as funny, admirable and (most perversely of all) sexually arousing." "Do we really want to live, for instance, in a culture when the torture and killing of a James Bulger or Damilola Taylor is re-enacted by child actors for laughs?" Even in reviews they can't help but create paranoia and anger that has nothing to do with the film - comparing it to the Jamie Bulger case, saying paedophiles are going to enjoy it, talking about underage pregnancies and knife crime. Soon they will be blaming Kick-Ass for everything from murders to the recession. And when he talks about Hit-Girl action scenes being sexually arousing, says more about the reviewer than the people who made the movie  Also something that is truly LOL worthy, "It has pretensions to intelligence but is profoundly, irredeemably bone-headed" pot kettle black much

iTunes Thread // April I
That remix has been out for ages, I downloaded it around the same time the original song was out, it's a bit random releasing it now  Why not try and promote Video Phone if she wants some post-Telephone success - it's got GaGa and it is her most recent single and just makes the most sense?

Claudia Winkleman to host Film 2010
Claudia Winkleman? That dire woman who was part of an even more dire panel at this years (and last years) Oscars? The one who knows nought about film and the best commentary that she could muster for a potential Colin Firth/Carey Mulligan win was that "it would make it a great year for the Brits, now lets talk about fashion..." Great choice BBC  Mark Kermode should have been chosen. Best man for the job.

Is it me or does whoever plays Mike Chang look extra hot in this pic. Even hotter than usual  Just a tiny bit gutted that he didn't come higher: his dancing is great and at times really comical, he has some great lines . And I'm slightly embarassed that I gace Jacob a 9.5  I just find him really funny, and he reminds me of Seth (Jonah Hill) out of Superbad.

Even the weakest song on the album isn't below an 8.

Kelis - Acapella
 The song is amazing and the video pushes it into epic levels - probably the most visually stunning video for a 'mainstream' song in a long time bar GaGa.

Florence and the Machine - Dog Days Are Over
Second time. She released it as a download in December 2008 where it was iTunes free song of the week, when BBC Radio 6 was supporting it (I think) and as far as I know, that is the single version that has been available to download ever since (obviously people are also downloading the album track). The only reason it seems like it has been re-released a lot is because it has re-climbed the charts twice: the first time after she won her Critics Choice Award at the Brits in 2009 and a clip of Dog Days and Kiss With A Fist was played, so both songs naturally climbed. Then it climbed again after the New Year hype of You've Got the Love, and Dog Days got a positive knock on effect, and then climbed higher when it was used to promote Slumdog Millionaire on Channel 4 during it's Indian themed week and its use on other adverts/shows. It peaked at #23 and is probably her most well known song (and therefore commercial) after You've Got the Love. Hence it's re-release, although really they should have just skipped this and went straight to Cosmic Love, because although it has cracked the Top 40 again I doubt she will re-peak.

Florence + the Machine 'Cosmic Love'
Yes, yes, yes, yes! Smash #1 please  "I took the stars from my eyes and made a map / And knew that somehow I could find my way back / Then I heard your heart beating, you were in the darkness too / So I stayed in the darkness with you" I hope she makes a video that connects with the story/emotion of the song, and not a bunch of randomness that was the new Dog Days video. And also *squeal* at hearing some new material for her second album. It's so soon.

Glee // Season One
Yeah a second season is confirmed and will start in the US in September or early October at the lastest - and Ryan Murphy has said that he has storylines planned up to Season Four and has already talked about some of the character stuff they are going to explore in latter seasons and have already confirmed a themed episode for S2. Why can't women be musical geniuses too?
Lisa Gerrard and Dead Can Dance as a whole - I think they move me the most with the music they make - the instruments they use in combination with their unique vocals (especially Gerrard's vocals); the concepts and ideas they have behind their music as well as the fact that she and the group have been around for years: I may not not have a vast knowledge of music as most of you have on this thread, but I would go as far to say that she is a musical genuis. itwL5y0He-k

Posters' Chart
Back in the charts after I don't know how many weeks: with a new peak at #14 :o my last peak was like #26 or something :drama: 136 posts in one week, my previous high I only scraped past 100 I think. Strangely though I kinda want to break into the Top 10  it would be a great statistic to put on my CV though. 'What do you do in your spare time?' 'Well, I was once Top 10 on Buzzjack - could've made the Top 5 if I really wanted to do though...give me a couple a' years and I could be No.1.' 'Damn, we gotta hire this guy he's too good to lose' And oh Easter holidays are coming up this wednesday. Posts are going to go up to embarassing levels, that's if I'm not too lazy to post.

'Glassheart' • Third Album
To be fair, I can see why Intervention was left off the album, it's not a strong song. However I do like the overall sound of it. Scene of the Crime and How Everything You Are on the otherhand are just stunning  'How Everything You Are' shows that Leona is capable of making truly emotive music, and she can do it without heavy productions of the Run variety; just by using her voice and more stripped back sounds like a piano. I haven't been moved by a song like this in a while. Her sound is evolving, and songs like this show that as well as the overall sound of Echo. She should continue in that direction and I hope in future Syco don't leave out gems like this in favour of safe songs like Stop Crying Your Heart Out. Although nice, it keeps her stuck in the Spirt era, and when they promoted Echo using SCYHO, that is the message they sent out to the public.

Lady Gaga - Alejandro
#3 Completely random guess though it's a brilliant single choice - a real summer anthem.
