I know lots of people have been saying that we may be in with a suprise for GCC, but I wasn't believing them tbh, until now. Just looked it up on limewire and Echo already has 86 P2P users, and for anyone who uses limewire they will know that that is massive for a british song. Will defo be a smash now! Can't believe that!

Was that laughable? :( I just have only heard it like been played three times or something like that. His previous single only peaked at #19 and that got millions of airplay...

Gabriella Cilmi - On a Mission
New song from the lady who got a top 10 hit in 2008 with Sweet About Me. Shes back but is she only a one hit wonder? Personally I love the chorus a lot but the verses seem too complacated for me, I think will peak around #18. Watch the music video and the song here now! :

Here Standing //
Going to flop. Will peak at around #20 I am thinking. The Saturdays - Wordshaker era is failing, imo the best thing thet could do is end it now, have a good few months to come up with something new and fresh, come back in Aug/Sept with something brilliant. All this is getting very samey...

New Release Schedule (Physical): Monday 11 January
[quote name='BrayFish' date='Jan 10 2010, 01:21 PM' post='2893569' Sugababes are clearly heading for a 14-39-71-x chart run with WMK... Nah, I recon Sugababes are going to peak at #7 officially as their album will be coming out and they will be promoting it like hell as they know they need to bulild up their fanbase again. Also I think Gravity will just scrappe top 10 ( Ego style ) as the new releases are far poorer than when CMO came out and its a far better/ commertial song IMO although Here We Go Again and The Fall should defo have been released before Gravity and CMO! :(

iTunes Chart: January 2010 (II)
The thing is that CL was released after 2 singles, Wordshaker was released after 1 single which peaked high but only spent 6 weeks in the top 40, so was actually a bit of a failure. They needed more promo too and also the album sounded exactly the same as CL, why buy two albums exactly the same? They need to be more daring...

iTunes Chart: January 2010 (II)
Despite a higher peak it has only just sold 50,000 thousand while CL has sold 300,000. Very very poor but I don't think they will get dropped though as they still have a big fanbase and their singles are charting well-ish.

Plan B - Stay Too Long already up to #38! Suprise hit, could reach top 10.

iTunes Chart: January 2010 (II)
No way, they haven't had enough airplay and the song and there voices aren't great. The highest viewed youtube video of Echo is on 87 thousand and songs with their biggest viewed video of the one song with over 100 thousand stuggle to scrape the top 40 if they are a British artist. I don't even think Echo will do as well as Keep Your Head Up and thats saying something.

But she wont be in the chart so what will she be doing?

iTunes Chart: January 2010 (II)
How strange, Journey and Alex just swapped places. Why oh why is DSB rising. It needs to go away and make way for new songs. Such a shame that Alex has fallen out of top 5. Owl City up to 9, should be top 3 i'm thinking by the morning. :D
-
iTunes Chart: January 2010 (II)
If it reaches the top 10? I can see it making top 5 in the next couple of hours looking at how close the pop bars are between #11 and #5. Anyway, is Plan B the only new release tonight?
-
iTunes Chart: January 2010 (II)
Up to #5 for Alexandra! :D KEEP GOING! Ego down to #21 and yet the single mix isn't really rising. :( Owl City should be top 10 soon, suprised it isn't higher already! :o
