First of all when is the last chart of the year? 29/12 or 5/1. Last year One Direction in 5 weeks sold 468 k, and 567 k in 6 weeks. So if Emeli will sell 700k this year, 1D will need sell 50% more - in 5 weeks or 23% in six weeks - than they sold last year. So if we have 5 charts more this year Emeli will be no.1 if 6, I think One Direction will be no.1.

They broke Vevo record on youtube, over 12mln views in one day, nowadays it gives more money then spending money for a single.

The Wanted sold over 75 k in their first week, are you sure that 1D will sell more in 6 days? They need 13k per day, so if Avicii is selling right now 3 times more than 1D, how many copies he will sell this week 200k? 250k? Is this possible in his second week?

It seems that 1D will sell less than The Wanted Walks Like Rihanna, but if you compare ,,success' of their last promotional single More than this, Best song ever is doing very well.

I complete don't understand why saturdays didn't release 2 version with, and without Sean Paul, with 2 versions in top 100 they will have much more chances to finally get #1.

It doesn't change the fact that big part of their global sale is outside uk and usa. They sold in Canada+ Australia so much copies of wmyb as in UK.

Last week they sold 70 k copies in the usa and uk, so this week with their tv performance they will definetely sell more. So I think that they're around 600k in the usa and uk right now. Is this impossible that they sold another 400k worldwide? It would be 40%, and last year they sold 4.4 mln copies of TMH, and over 55% was outside uk and usa. And OCC didn't mentioned that 1D have biggest selling single worldwide because even if they sold 1 mln they still have to sell another 600k to beat peter kay.

Of course that there is no way that 1D will sell 1.2 mln in the uk, but if they will sell 0.5 mln in the uk and 1.2 mln outside uk, and Amarillo sold 1.6 mln worldwide it will means that 1D will have best selling comic relief ever despite fact that Peter Kay will have best selling comic relief single in uk. And considering on fact that 1D sold over half of their albums outside uk and usa, and they sold around 500k copies of OWOA in the uk and usa it means that they may already sold around 1 mln copies worldwide.

For me their career is dead, they officially announced that their new american single will be all time low, single from 2010 :o They released only 2 songs last year, and their new album is something like Her name is Nicole one delay, second delay, third delay, they are unable to sold out their concerts( and they play in very small arena). I'm pretty sure that their record label will drop them this or next year.
