It definitely will end up as close race, it's even quite possible that Emeli will have best selling album of the year, but 1D will have best selling album between 1st january 2013 and 31st December :) .

So it's seems that lily have to has her advantage thanks to online shopping and physical.

If Lily sold 2 k physical, and 1d sold few hundreds and have even small advantage on itunes i still don't see how she can be ,,thousands'' ahead of them.

Judging on kworb with no doubt one direction sold more during this week than lily. Even if she has an advantage because of her CD sales ( which is imho doubful considering that 1d also has a physicals) how many copies of them she could sell 2k? 3k?

How is this possible that 1D every day were selling more than Lily on Itunes, and now she has few thousands copies advantage?

yes both of them released physicals, and it's quite obvious who has an advantage because of this ;)

546 k for 1D is better achievement than their last album. btw hits daily double revelead that 1D sold 530 k, and according to billboard they sold 546 k it's quire big diffrence

Maybe they shouldn't relesead so many singles before album...

First of all when is the last chart of the year? 29/12 or 5/1. Last year One Direction in 5 weeks sold 468 k, and 567 k in 6 weeks. So if Emeli will sell 700k this year, 1D will need sell 50% more - in 5 weeks or 23% in six weeks - than they sold last year. So if we have 5 charts more this year Emeli will be no.1 if 6, I think One Direction will be no.1.

According to ,,industry sources'' 1D will sell around 550 k. I was thinking that they will sell 650-700 but 550 is still wonderful achievement.
