Also can everyone take the context of this is a a TEN YEAR OLD ALBUM, which most people already have, most people have already and continue to stream? I think launch date is really important even if we are talking only 2-3 weeks, it can definitely impact a lot on how new music is received/promoted/talked about. October is just too early. Similarly to not releasing new music 2-3 weeks before Christmas, you'd wait till the New Year when there is a bigger appetite for new music rather than Christmas music. Launch date is crucial in a new music campaign, Christmas or not. In other news, routing for Prada to get it's time at #1 this week.

Yeah I think earliest albums should come out is early November, post Halloween. So this year 3rd Nov onwards. Anything earlier is bonkers i think. I understand labels want it out longer for obvious reasons, but there just isn't a huge appetite for Christmas music in October.
