For singles to be chart eligible they can have up to 4 different tracks with a running time of 25 minutes, or remixes of the same track that run no longer than 40 minutes. The single needs to be chart eligible in itself (regardless of the length of individual tracks), so at over 40 minutes Telephone won't be. They could have split it over 2 "EPs" if they were concerned about it - lots of artists do that to get around the rules. Is this true? Meaning that the Telephone Kaskade Remix I bought yesterday wouldn't have counted towards Gaga getting number 1 in the UK official charts?
