I think everyone is surprised that Leona's album is not selling as everyone had predicted. Even like 3 months ago, some folk would say it would be the best selling album of 2009. I wonder what went wrong... I presume it all goes down to a weak first single sellection.
  2. Their charts are dire... how can you not know Sade? Are you into music or what, pal?

oh dear, are they still going? :o

Anyway I give up... we'll talk in 5 years' time. Can't wait to see her second album out though. ;)

So what? Are you trying to say anyone who is famous and big is good? Miley is massive/famous in USA. But she's just a joke isn't she?

She is a disposable artist with no charisma. She's relevant this year and maybe next year. Her career won't last long though.

3 Words is awful. Who does she think she is? She's one of the worst singers of this decade and she should be thankful for being picked for Girls Aloud (she was begging Newcastle to vote for her to get through) otherwise she would have lived in that awful council world she used to stay in.
  8. Wouldn't call it hot... Rather tacky.

Hoping Lady Gaga will be #1 this week. And extremely happy that Rihanna's Russian sth did not make Number 1! It's such a weak first single.
  10. The album sold over 300k+ (please use authentic data info when posting)
  11. It's not going to flop as the company is going for an easy number one (minimum top 3) in a very quiet week. By does it matter anyway - she's not going to last long - her debut album is out of top 20 in its 7th week before Xmas...

Hope Lady Gaga will be at #1 this week. It's a proper pop song! Hate that dull and boring tune from Rihanna...
  13. I'm not her fan but it looks like her greatest hits album flopped in the UK charts. Even The Priests, Janet Jackson, UB40(!), Fron Male Voice Choir, Enya sold more than that cheap miming star. "The Singles Collection" got to #38.
  14. She's a tart and mimes only!

Because Freddie Mercury was GaGa's fav artist.

I am a Madonna fan, but I think this song is absolutely atrocious! It will go Top 10 though. "Celebration" single was a very weak seller anyway. Well, the album seemed to disappear from Top 10 very quickly.

Oh thank god it's going down. It's cheap and atrocious! :arrr:

145k for Alexandra only? That is shocking. I always knew she was very weak anyway. And her next single is with Ne-Yo. Who does she think she is? A joke, I suppose.

oh god, the song was so confusing that it was really hard to tell. I believe they all mime apart from Robbie. She Wolf rulez.

Hopefully! I hate xf charity singles! They only spoil the charts!

I agree to a certain extent - leona is still tied with XF somehow - she is on the same record label as all of those people there. She will always be associated with XF in the UK.

It's because when Bleeding Love was out, everyone was talking about it... I think Happy was supposed to be a massive hit, not only sales-wise but also on "people's lips"... It flopped in USA though and didn't make bigger impact in Europe either. If it hadn't been advertised in the media, it would've been a weak Top 10 single... but who knows. Persoanlly, I dannae think it is a strong first single. btw I have seen "Spirit" in Charity Shops in a lot of places - so would imagine half of those who bought it in 2007, won't bother with Echo...
  23. Exactly, both Meet Me Halfway and Happy were performed on Sunday night... I hate You Are Not Alone - another embarassing number 1 to come!
