You shouldn't blame gaga for the failure of everything in your life or take out your insecurities on her. She inspires me to make something of myself, have ambitions and work hard everyday. If you have goals you can achieve them. In the time you wrote that last message you could have got off benefits and found a job for example.
  2. She should promote more in europe in october and november when sales are higher. There's no point promoting at the moment in the UK when sales are so crapola ...flying over spending all that money for what 5,000 or 10,000 extra sales.

No but statistics (sales/groses etc) are just as an important as cultural impact and the other elements it takes to be considered a legendary figure in the entertainment industry. You can be a legend in different ways. Gaga's already made a big impact...even if she died tomorrow....she'd be remembered as the youtube queen, the first superstar of the download era and for reviving the music video as an event. I can't see any new artist topping the monster ball as the most successfull debut arena tour in history ($227m gross) anytime soon either. She's got plenty of time to impact society in other ways.
  4. The video's not raunchy enough...he should have pushed that fugly girl acrobat out the way and grabbed the guy for a big gay snog and rudey scene in the changing room.

That's what her label wants and the campaign is running for 18 months. How many did B release from Sasha Fierce? 9 in the US if I remember right...So it's not that unusual. You have to keep in mind gaga had released 3 just after the albums release aswell. Most campaigns run for the same amount of time...just gaga is releasing more singles. Back in the day Michael Jackson used to release loads of singles from albums. You can't stop in the download age...work work work. Rihanna doesn't sleep. Beyonce keeps going on about this year long break she had...but I seriously doubt she took much time off. She recorded 4, shot the artwork, released a new fragrance, worked on the clothing line with her mother, did some personal appearances, charity work, shot a commercial in germany...I could go on. You have to hustle non stop if you want to stay on top. If gaga wants legendary status...it needs to be release after release after release and tour tour tour for the next ten years...there will be ups and downs but you need to establish your sales and grosses in that period for a long career. Madonna and Britney (well 4 years sadly for Brit) both knew this. Even if there are points when the mass public are bored of her gaga will still have her huge core fanbase.

She should release Marry the night as 5th then Hair...then she can have fun with the risky singles next year - Schiebe, Americano then Heavy metal lover. I love Bloody mary but it just wouldn't get played in the US...the last thing she needs is another religious controversy than will lead to more lazy madonna comparisons.
  7. She's doing fine and she'll climb back up this week I would guess. The album market has been in the toilet in this country in the past few months and she's not the only person this has effected. The market this year has basically been the good = adele, gaga's first week...the bad = everything else. Her "only" selling 7,279 is more representative of the UK market as a whole than anything to do with the album. People need to stop re-writing history...gaga has NEVER been a huge week after week 100,000 of thousands seller...she's always been small and consistent apart from Nov/Dec time (which is always a higher sales time) and she's continued this with BTW.
  8. I love this. Great lyrics...the best her voice has ever sounded too. Her pipes can divide opinion but she sounds great on this...she's really singing out. I hope she gets a hit...she's so ambitious and a hard worker. I know she found the way her last album was handled torture. The guy is fit too!

You and I's given the album a boost this week. It was in the 80s on itunes on monday and it's now in the 40s.

They are looked after by Global talent who own Capital and Heart. They only got the X Factor performance in exchange for those stations pushing X Factor acts more. They made a deal.
  11. She still needs to lose weight. She looks bloated on that cover. Your a popstar Kelly! You are supposed to look better than your audience! Kelly's never 'carried off' being a larger woman like Jhud did or Christina Hendricks does. She lacks their confidence. Kelly just looks rough.

They usually play the wanted's singles straight away...we all know why that is though.

Thats not really a shock. MLJ is a very commercial radio sounding song. Heart have always worshipped Maroon 5 aswell. I know people complain about R1 not playlisting songs that then go on to be hits...but legally they have a much broader remit than that. They have other guidelines rather than just whether a song is chart friendly or not. They probably didn't playlist because it because they know commercial radio will hammer it and it doesn't need their support (much like most of Enrique's releases).

Pixie's new hair makes her look like a 37 year stay at home mum! So frumpy! She looks older than Heidi Range and thats really saying something!

I think the Saturdays are going to pull a shock and take it. Collide and All about tonight just don't seem to be connecting. I'm not a Sats fan but I honestly think it's a better record...its catchier and hookier than the other gorls' releases and the videos great. I don't think Collide's melody is strong enough for a Leona comeback single. It gets old very quickly. She deserves better. The cover shot is horrible too...it's not a POPSTAR picture...it looks more like something from a Catalogue. Syco are clueless...this is a label that let Simon choose (he knows NOTHING about music, he is a businessman that is all) the dull, dull, dull Happy as a lead single last time and turned down recording the incredible Impossible which was wasted on a B Lister like Shontelle, didn't release outta my head, still released Echo in the US even without a hit single (they should have put it back)....I could go on.
  16. I don't think this is anything special. I much prefer Misery and that really underperformed...but I suppose that didn't have The Voice 'effect'.

Yeah but sales are in the toilet lately. There's no point comparing.
  18. Hope this is a hit for her in the US. Her album has bombed in the US considering all the promo she's had...they spent thousands buying her that SNL slot for one. A vocalist of her calibre deserves to be a success even though I find the way she uses that talent so annoying...I hate all those tricks and trills and ad libs she does. So annoying to listen to. She reminds me of Xtina in that sense...less is more dear!

Do you still not get how the charts work? Whitney was at #12 when she peaked at #4 post X Factor....BEP were at #3 when they peaked at #1. Shakira was at #104 on itunes before debuting in the top 30 this week...so overall she climbed further than BEP & Whitney. Mimi wasnt in the top 100 before and is now in the 40s...she is doing very well.

I'm really pleased "Outta my head" is not selling much. It'll give it a better chance to peak higher and sell more when it is officially released.

The video is really, really good aswell though (incredible choreography) which might help.

What number is "Did it again" (album version) by queen Shaki at? That should make a big climb later on I would guess.

Even if "I need you now" goes high top 20 (say #11 or #12) its still good for Agnes. It's a tough time of year and she's AATW which is really a small label. There still in profit as an artist with her - look at "Release me" they spent NOTHING on promo really and made loads back.

Mariah isn't performing this series. She is on Strictly TONIGHT though and Lily Allen next week which should give whould have known a kick up the ass! It's a shame Alesha isn't allowed to perform on Strictly anymore (the BBC said they can't be seen to be promoting her music...not that that stops Cowell promoting that thug Cheryl every week on ITV BUT I suppose that is a commercial network which is different) it would really have helped "To love again".

GaGa is on X Factor on Saturday 5th of December. That is the ONLY break in her tour and she's coming over for the Jingle bell ball aswell.
