Rihanna has had two number 1's. Britney last number one songs were Toxic and Everytime back in 2004. Janet Jackson deserved to have a number 1, not that she'll lever get one now.

Take a Bow was Rihanna's last number 1. That debuted at number 2 before peaking at number 1, hopefully Rude Boy will also be able to climb to number one form the number two position.

It looks like Rude Boy will be number one in the UK and ROI tonight :) It will take another few days for her to catch up to Taio in the US

I agree, or atleast a new show where artists can promote music. As it is, there isn't really any.

First off "Sex on fire" is an amazing song, and secondly 2009 was one of the strongest years for British music that I can recall. Obviously you don't follow the charts, since 2006 British music has gone from strength to strength and I see no reason why that won't continue this year.

I thought that would be the case but I was told on ATRL that a subsciption to Billboard magazine does not give you access to sales. Do you know what you need to subscribe to? I don't mind paying I just want access!

I hope so, I was sort of thinking that it may hake a run similar to IFTK, but I think 'hollywood' has had more support from radio than what IFTK had. It has been A-lsted on Radio 1 anyway, if I remember correctly IFTK wasn't A-listed until after it was released
