  1. Why do you think calling me the biggest selling artist in UK history (on a chart forum no less) is either clever or insulting? If you want to insult me call me Steps or some other one of the Saturdays.
  2. How is it doing on Youtube and Amazon?
  3. No but I think in the case of huge artists that get big playlisting, hype and radio play like Dua is straight off the bat then it struggling on streaming is a sign it isn't connecting with the general public. Of course quality is subjective but as you can see the more people that are seemingly being exposed to Jack's song are liking it and streaming it, where as the more exposed to Houndini is seemingly having the opposite effect. It is dropping pretty hard on most streaming platforms.
  4. I cant imagine anyone will actually be wearing it, it is basically for display. Christmas Wrapping Spotify streams Friday - 24,055
  5. Guess it explains why Capital have been hammering My Love even though it was a huge flop.
  6. At some point when people are ready we can have the conversation that Houdini just is an average song so those streaming numbers are no surprise. Dance the night was miles better.
  7. I mean it is all relative, I spend £25 on takeaway pizza too.
  8. Have ordered the ornament, it is probably way more expensive than the quality when it arrives but I love baubles and ornaments. The necklace will defo be so cheap made as it has a note about not showerinf in it ect.
  9. The only part of the rumours that is worrying is the super heroes video. Unless they have a massive budget (which they have never had) I cant imagine it wont just look a bit cheap. Maybe it will fit the song perfectly but I think it would be way down on my list of themes for any music video.
  10. It went very out of fashion to release Christmas music in the mid 90s in the UK. It was big songs and novelty records. Spice girls beat Telly Tubbies and South Park to Christmas number 1 didn't they.
  11. Yeah as I say most very popular Christmas songs build then the artist or label have 1 or 2 years really pushing it to make it a staple of playlists and radio. If it does as well as last year it will become their most streamed non single. At this rate it could overtake Holler and Goodbye in a couple of years. The one thing Universal have done is plonk it on loads of the compilations they put out on streaming endlessly. So from about 5 versions on Spotify there is now nearly 20.
  12. Christmas Wrapping streams on Spotify - Monday - 21,562 Tuesday - 22,058
  13. Youtube views should never be included in the charts as you can just outright buy views by making a music video play as an advert.
  14. At its current daily average Wannabe will hit 1b on Christmas eve!
  15. Just because of you I'm off to stream and download Jack. :cheer: Congrats on putting people off Houdini
  16. Of course it is my opinion, I post my opinions that is why it is called a forum.
  17. When people say things like this I don't think they have a firm grasp on how it works. You can be rich and still need paycheques. Being a millionaire doesn't mean they have millions sat in the bank, they are rich as they have expensive houses and cars but that lifestyle costs a lot to maintane. Nadine isn't playing bingo halls because she loves bingo but because she needs that money. Any way that is neither here nor there, they can have whatever reason they like to reunite and if money is one of them then that is absolutely fine.
  18. Houdini just isn't very good, it isn't bad but this aint big comeback single worthy.
  19. I have no idea but if they are wise they would run with Christmas Wrapping this winter. Lyric video, radio edit chopping 35 seconds off the start of it, 7 inch vinyl. A lot of the big Christmas songs the artist pushed hard as it took off, like Kylie with Santa Baby, Leona with One more sleep, Mariah never stops pushing AWIFCIY.
  20. Christmas Wrapping is already averaging 16.2k streams a day. That is now more than Holler and only 500 behind Goodbye and 1.5k behind Mama and Too Much. Should be a week or so before Christmas Wrapping appears in their top 10 on Spotify the way it is going.
  21. The interesting thing about this situation is if the label has to pick which 3 formats will count or if the OCC just takes the 3 highest when all released at once?
  22. Being a store only release was so stupid for the vinyl. It was released on record store day week so the top 10 was very high sales, which is bad enough but then to not have your vinyl in those record stores for people to buy is just dumb. Thousands of extra people going to record stores that week and not taking advantage of it. Sigh.
  23. Be nice for a day trip to Liverpool next year. If the documentary comes in March then it is good timing.
  24. My happy place magenta vinyl is getting released in the US next week as well as today in Europe. Bunton keeps on winning.

That is on ACR too, just awful.
