  1. This is absolutely rubbish, the only up side is she is making Leigh-Anne's music seem like Mozart.
  2. What is she going to fill a whole set list with? She has like 7 songs that total about 23 minutes.
  3. Highly doubt it, A girl like me was nothing to do with Emma, just Virgin (Universal now) making a quick buck on record store day. Emma didn't block it of course and was happy to promote it because why not it will make her a few quid too.
  4. Depth to me non of the Spice Girls have, which is why they are so much better as a band. They can all sing to a degree but non have depth or are versatile. They cant go from head voice to chest voice, or falsetto, virbratto or much up and down octaves. Those are the sorts of things that add depth and texture to songs. What you mean I think is they can add personality to songs.
  5. If you mean she goes in and out of tune then yes.
  6. Because their team are absolutely awful, I'm sure they did it because of copywrite reasons. The insta post and tweet for the 30th anniversary of the 1st audition has also been removed because they didn't have clearance to use the audition footage. Spice girls net posted the pic from the launch of channel 5 recently and a few days later they stole it and posted it. Sad because we are talking about the biggest selling girl group ever not B*witched, the social media and everything put out should be top notch and owned by them.
  7. It has some good songs, it is creative, I enjoyed it as a child. As an adult her voice is just hard to listen to solo for a whole album as it is so thin lacks any depth.
  8. Her voice would suit an orchestral Christmas album so well. As much as we would all love a brand new pop album a gorgeous Christmas album would suit her and her current image/life so much more.
  9. Espresso is just a perfectly crafted pop song with a fun video and her selling it well. All Espresso tells me though is a lot of the releases from the big female artists this forum loves have been sub par lately. Espresso blows anything released by them recently out the water and rightly so. With the way the charts are now with multiple versions of physical albums and a zillion versions of tracks and 3 rip of single physicals, that many artists are just looking to squeeze and manipulate their fan base to get every drop out of them. When just making a great song would be enough and there is such a lack of effort to do that. Hence half the songs in the charts just sampling past hits, low effort where someone else has done the hard work to craft a good song that is just spruced up.
  10. Victoria dressed like she had just come from a shift at the office while the girls were all in party dresses just distanced her further even when stood with them.
  11. I think it is pretty obvious that we got Feed your love as it was almost a Mel B solo. Victoria and Geri were probably saying no left and right to anything were their vocals could be heard properly.
  12. I have no problem with Mel B being honest about how she feels about Geri currently. I have no problem with any of them being honest at all. What I actually dislike is the fakeness they often have a pact to keep up for the 'Friendship never ends' brand. If Geri is not wanting to play ball and some aren't happy with her life choices why protect her. They are 50 year old women and we arw middle aged fans do we really need to still pretend they love everything about each other and are best mates all the time?
  13. Victoria would never do it without Geri. If Victoria ever performs again she will want it to be about her return not 'Where is Geri'.
  14. If Mel B and Geri met for the first time now I'm sure Mel B would not like Geri at all. She can see straight through the fake act Geri puts on and Mel B cant help herself now and again showing her feelings on current Geri. Though to be fair if Geri wasn't a Spice Girl I'd think she was a complete idiot and she is verging on it any way. The wearing white is pathetic and it is boring everyone just ignoring it like a huge elephant in the room.
  15. I will say one thing I'm jealous of Steps, Girls Aloud and so on getting such great releases and them going out their way to please fans. If a 3 piece can deliver some good performances, some new material and releases then I would lap it up because I'm so starved as a fan. I think they would be wise to embrace Geri and Victoria in aspects. Do some of their own Gogglebox style videos watching clips and videos from the past together but embrace and talk about Geri and Victoria positively and lovingly. So it isn't a 'us and them' feel but a 'they just aren't feeling it this time' vibe but are still Spice Girls and it is all one big journey.
  16. I agree with Jay that a 3 piece would work better if it had new material too. Maybe just a one off song to start with to test the waters and as an added bonus with a tour announcement. Whatever Mel B's motive for posting that, the reel of the 3 girls singing SYBT was posted 4 weeks ago so Mel B had to dig for it so she knew exactly what she was doing.
  17. Would give GA the chance to tour outside the UK but without the pressure of selling tickets and extend their comeback. I think it would look great on a poster, Spice Girls with special guest GA.
  18. It is the only 3 piece I would accept as they are the voice and stage presence of the Spice Girls. I say why not, in 60 years we will all likely be dead and no one will care if 3 Spice Girls did a tour an album together. Live for the moment. Also I think people would underestimate how big even 3 of them have as a pull. If 4 can sell out massive stadiums, 3 can do arenas no problem. Australia would lap up any Spice Girls gig so they would actually be wise to start there and it start off looking very successful from the off. I mean if they get the support act right no reason they couldn't do a few stadiums in Australia as a 3 piece. Whilst most of us can say well I saw them in 2007 or 2019 so I might give a 3 piece 2025 tour a miss, most Australians have never had that option. MCG stadium with Girls Aloud as the support act equals winner I'm sure.
  19. Wish I was a stan you guys are getting spoiled.
  20. Peter Lorraine who was the editor of TOTP has explained how they got their nicknames after he met them. He said Mel B sat on his knee and said "You're scared of me aren't you?". That is how she became Scary Spice. Geri was originally going to be Saucy Spice in the article but they toned that down and Mel C Scouse Spice.
  21. Stop just sounded very dated at the time given the influence and a bit safe, perfect for radio but not a rush and buy it to have it on repeat on cd type of song. That works in its favour now as it is a perfect song for some passive playlist streams (which is like today's radio play) and being dated means it doesn't sound 90s it sounds classic.
  22. I don't know which playlist SYBT has been added to but it is doing about 85k streams a day now. Not conplaining, it used to be their 2nd biggest hit WW but has got overlooked recently.
  23. Yep pencilled in dates means nothing until the dates actually go on sale. They were days away from announcing 2014 and 2020 and neither happened. I'd say it is probably true their team have the dates on hold but that absolutely doesn't mean it will happen.
  24. The absolute ridiculous thing is Universal has the rights to it now, that is why it was removed from Netflix and the cheap dvd stopped being produced as it changed hands. Then Universal have done absolutely nothing with it bar use clips of it for social media. It was on the schedule to be released for its anniversary but was pulled months in advance and I have no idea why. It is probably the biggest mess of it all. Universal probably just cant be bothered to sort the streaming rights to different countries and barter a deal with Netflix. Sometimes I wonder if Universal or the Girls themselves/their team get how much they actually hurt their own legacy at this point. Sadly the Spice Girls are falling so far behind most other artists these days as they just aren't embracing streaming/online as much as most other artists. There is just no point in 2024 leaving things in the vault. Imagine Steps having a live album like Birmingham '98 sat in their vaults, it would be out on CD/cassette/vinyl/streaming in a nice release by now and fans would love it.
  25. Are they really going to bother with another single? The album will get promo from Glastonbury and other festivals. It isn't going to be some massive streaming album that is obvious, nothing from the album has naturally took off like some album tracks do. They have also paid for 4 music videos so far (one was scrapped I believe). I'm sure they will move quickly to a deluxe end of year or new album next year and just let this do whatever else it does now without investing too much more money in it.
