  1. The orchestral version is on cd 2 of Spice25 and after all these were done to sell Spice25 and Spiceworld25, that is why we have them. Youtube views for music have nosedived recently, so it will be interesting to see if we get anymore. I think SYBT and WDYTYA and SUYL are obvious missing classics. Christmas Wrapping is crying out for a cute one too.
  2. This is more interesting as it is coming from people connected with the stadiums. It would be perfect damage control for Geri too.
  3. So far there has been two different sources about two different stadiums in Australia. I really hope they do it, Australia deserves it tbh. It would be a huge success I'm sure, the oz fans have been waiting for this for 28 years. Plus with the recent 5 piece pic getting such buzz they are probably being given an even bigger cheque upfront for it. It could then easily lead to UK in late Spring like in 2019, with Glasto and then the US/South America/Canada late summer so they have nice big gaps in the schedule, Feb, May-June, Aug-Sept.
  4. I think all are great, they have got them just right in terms of keeping the feel of the original video or song. I think Viva Forever is my favourite though. Viva Forever actually does really good views, it is the most viewed despite being the last to be released. It gets more views daily than the likes of Goodbye, Too Much, Holler actual music videos.
  5. There are a lot of rumours flying around that the Spice Girls are booking stadiums in Australia to be announced soon for early 2025. In 2019 it was supposed to be announced late June for Feb 2020 dates. So they might be using the same time line.
  6. According to kworb SYBT is outstreaming SUYL by a fair amount in the last 7 days, not sure why.
  7. Is she self funding these releases already because everything screams no budget and flying by the seat of her pants having no real idea what she is doing now?
  8. Releasing three singles before the album killed any hype as they were just the same sort of dance/pop sound as she has always done and each was progressively worse than the last. There was no this sounds so different to what I expect from Dua Lipa I'm curious what the album sounds like. It was just more of the same. All big artists have to reinvent themselves and elvolve their sound to stay ahead of the game, which is what Dua hasn't done. I think there will be another album quickly after this one (summer 2025) to try and get things back on track. Even Rihanna popping out an album a year had to jump genres, do ballads, different looks, styles to keep ahead of the game and people interested.
  9. I think she killed excitement for the album by releasing 3 singles before it (which have generally been seen as progressively worse than the last) and the album only having 11 songs. The excitement has fizzled out and there is only 8 new songs to listen too. If you only like two of the three singles and think a couple of the album tracks are duds then you are basically down to an EP. The three singles haven't exactly thrown anything new into the mix too, like a 'oh this is a bit different from Dua, makes me excited to hear the album'. I'm sure it will do well but I think the era will be short as they try to course correct in 2025 with a new album of songs with more substance that are more experimental.
  10. It was only this year I bothered to listen to the original Soul Boy, which is massively shit too. I cant believe anyone listened to it and thought this is ace it needs covering.
  11. A lot of copies were sold online on the Monday to international fans who wont count towards the UK charts. Also not all records stores record and report sales. The one I got it from was using a calculator and pad of paper instead of any sort of till.
  12. Geri's version is decent, she has always sounded better in her lower register like Look at me and It's raining men. Which is why it is baffling in her later years she has insisted on singing in a higher register, especially as voices deepen with age too.
  13. The UK had 1.1k copies made so that is good going.

RSD is a big source of promo though that is why artists do it. Record stores that would also never stock certain artists do for that week. It also causes panic and makes fans feel like they have to get it or they will miss out. Not sure anything being #17 on the physical singles chart for one week thanks to a record store day tie in gives any real indication of what a single physical sold on an artists store would do. Perrie managed onky what 1.3k cds, she has you would think a bigger following than Steps and a big major label behind her too.
  15. LIM unreleased tracks I'd be keen to hear.
  16. No love is just a tunless and rubbish as the first time I heard it. I rarely think an Emma song is shit (boring, middle of the road some) but urghhh that is just bad. I'm fairly certain the documentary was meant to come with a tie in music release 'the gift that keeps on giving'. But whether any of it will happen now with Geri remains to be seen.
  17. Heard Espresso today on radio can see why it is popular, catchy but harmless. Very GP friendly.
  18. Because that has been Geri's whole personality for the past 4 years. You are telling me 'I only wear white' Geri doesn't have parts in the documentary filmed at her country manor. Feeding the horses while chatting, or Christian milling around while she says how supportive he was of her doing SW19 and finally playing Wembley.
  19. #89 in the physical album chart.
  20. The song is just bad. There really isn't any getting around that. It is number 1 on radio airplay, getting good playlisting, she is coming across well. All the ingredients are there just the actual song being not good enough has killed it all stone dead. I cant think why they thought an Ed reject was the way to go. I mean he isn't giving his best work to Perrie when he could release it himself or give it to massive A listers.
  21. I think they have got the jist right, that it was first delayed because of Geri's book. Then it was agreed to be this year for the 30th anniversary but again Geri has put a spanner in the works again with the sext scandal. But that it is ready to go and all filmed and done. I totally believe she wouldn't want it coming out now with the scandal still on going (the woman is appealing the outcome of the 'internal investigation'). The headlines will write themselves with Geri's parts no doubt gushing over Christian and their perfect life "Spice Girls documentary shows clueless Geri fawning over husband Christian just weeks/months before sext scandal".
  22. Stop had its biggest ever day of views on Youtube on Sunday 21st according to kworb. It did 54k views in the one day. That seems low to me though I guess Stop hasn't had the viral moment Wannabe/Spice up your life had at the Olympics and it isn't anywhere near as big on Youtube as it is on Spotify for them.
  23. Your shelf looks shit without it let's be honest!
  24. Spice Girls insta has past 1.8m followers.
