The thing with Christmas songs that have become hits in the streaming era is they have grown year on year. That is what we and Universal should be pushing for. Make the most of this year, have Christmas wrapping high on itunes, getting as many streams as possible. Then radio will pick it up, playlists next year outside the big one it is on will be more likely to add it and more people in general be aware of it and add it to their own personal xmas playlists and go to songs. Then in a couple of years it is charting every year.

Probably the one song of theirs that live just absolutely comes to life. Mel B also sounds like heaven on it with her lower tone. I've always loved Mama more than most others.

I'm sure she is gutted she was already at the venue.

They get a huge boost new years eve/day too as Wannabe is a go to party song. I think it did its biggest streaming day ever NYE last year. So hopefully by Jan 2nd they will be over 10 million listeners as it is a monthly thing and Christmas Wrapping wasn't added to the big playlist till Dec 5th so those extra listeners wont fall off till Jan 5th in theory.

My CD has arrived. I think I prefer it to Spice25 CD it looks a bit more classy. With them mainly using 2 photo shoots and one being black and white it feels more cohesive. Spice25 felt a lot more mish mash. Would have been nice to have the postcards too though, that was a money cost cut they really didn't need to make. The inside has the Spiceworld cover but on a black background, that would look great as a vinyl or standard CD.

Christmas Wrapping has moved up to #5 on their top 10 most popular songs on Spotify. That will give it a lot more visibility and hopefully help bring in more streams.

I defo don't think she could do this yearly. I cant see people rushing to get tickets next year, though I get why she has done it this after the Albert Hall gig gave people a taste of it or FOMO with it being only 1 show. It does set her up nicely for an xmas album next year though. Promoting it as the songs she loved to sing on her xmas tour ect.

She has two live backing singers not backing track for most of it.

She sounds incredible on Viva Forever and Simon did a nice job on the production and backing music.

I assume they will just report sales on the 16th. It wasn't in HMV today yet but I'm sure they must have the stock already. They probably sent them a few days early to try and make sure they get to people asap with the Royal Mail strikes that are on going.

The Robbie one is absolutely awful though. But it is always in her top 10 most popular on Spotify.

If you cant afford a live band though that is different. Little Mix have no excuse, but a live band might have made this tour not viable for Emma.

A live band travelling to 5 dates would be expensive I'm sure. This tour will have to be done on a tight budget I'm sure. Will Young sang 2 become 1 with her. That would make a great live recording on Spotify get some nice streams.

Christmas Wrapping has indeed moved up to #6 on their most popular top 10 on Spotify. Top 5 would give it a lot more visibility so will be good when that happens in the next couple of days.

A very odd moment in Spice Girls history which has sadly been pretty much erased. There is nothing really to show for Viva Forever, no dvd recording, no soundtrack release.
