I do love all the free promo they get over xmas. 2 become 1 is doing very well on the TV airplay chart as usual too.

Martin Lewis name being involved will guarentee this is number 1. He is sort of the voice of the nation during this cost of living crisis.

903k Insta followers now, up 4k in the last week. A slower week gaining wise but then the insta hasn't posted in 9 days now. When their xmas singles get streams and radio play, Christmas Wrapping is getting good streaming updates and they have a SW25 cd coming out in 5 days they decide to stop posting. I wish I could understand their logic.

I've never listened to this album outside of Santa Baby but was getting ready very early this morning and Kylie Christmas show at the Royal Albert Hall was on Sky arts. I only caught Christmas Wrapping but dear god it was awful. She sounded dreadful, it was flat, she struggled to keep up with the music and it was just her no dancers on a very fast song so just seemed very minimal. It didn't make me want to hear the rest of it that is for sure.

At least you go the top 2 right.

Interesting to see what todays update for Christmas wrapping will be given it will be Saturdays streams. The Christmas songs seem to get a big boost come the weekend.

I guess it is better than having Mariah as Christmas number 1.

Hopefully even higher streams on today's update with it being in their top 10 yesterday and it being Friday streams. Doesn't hurt the UK was very frosty and some snow to make it feel more like Christmas too.

Or it is just boring and goes nowhere. Save for Mel C's middle 8 it is pretty much a snooze. It kills the vibe on tour and they know it which is why they tried to jazz it up in 2007.

It might be worth us having a Christmas Wrapping download day on the 23rd December. That is the chart week Christmas day is where streams will be huge. Cant hurt to give it a few more sales whatever happens. Christmas wrapping is up to #8 on their top 10 most popular songs on Spotify.

Too much is their worst single anyway, Holler and Headlines deserve to be above it too.

Nice to get an update but sadly being a million 'seller' means nothing these days with recent songs having ridiculously inflated 'sales' from streaming.

Will just keep growing as we get closer to Xmas too. Christmas day it could actually outstream Wannabe. Hopefully will shoot into their top 10 tomorrow too giving it another boost.

Santa Baby up to #5 on Emma's top 10 most popular songs on Spotify.

Christmas wrapping did nearly 64k streams yesterday thanks to being added to the Christmas pop playlist. That might not even be a full day of streaming on the playlist either as not sure what time yesterday it was updated and Christmas wrapping added. Only Wannabe and sometimes Stop do more daily streams than that and it will only get higher as we get closer to xmas. Should almost certainly be their 2nd most popular song on their Spotify top 10 in the next week or so. Universal really need to jump all over this, get Christmas wrapping #1 on their best of playlist and make it their artist pick. It entering their top 10 most popular in the next few days will boost its numbers too. I'd say put it #1 on their This is playlist too but we have discussed the lack of update for that already. A push on social media too wouldn't go amiss. No reason by Friday with a bit of push Christmas Wrapping cant be doing 100k streams a day easily.

Gets streaming Christmas wrapping on repeat! I'd love to see anything bar the usual 10 songs in their top 10 most popular on Spotify. Apart from Holler and Goodbye sometimes switching places and Feed your love doing a few days at number 10 it has basically never changed. Would be nice to see a 'random' track in there for once.

I'm always a bit shocked they didn't hit the studio late summer 99 to record a Christmas album to tied things over. The xmas tour would have been the promo for it and no pressure to even release a single for it properly. Same title as the tour Christmas in Spiceworld. 8 covers and 2 originals I'm sure they could have knocked it out in a couple of weeks. If one of the originals ended up being really good could have tried for the 99 xmas number 1.

I think the steady rise larely seems to be from the reel they posted of them singing Wannabe acapella not too long ago. Its views seem to have been rising very steadily recently and it now has over 1.7m views and over 80k likes which is big by the girls social media standards (think it might be their most viewed reel ever).

Another week another 7k rise on Insta, now 899k followers. 900k tonight or tomorrow.

A couple more tweaks to the Youtube page yesterday, the 'live' playlist has the Olympics performance added and the link to the website in the about section has a SW25 little icon now. These sorts of things feel like getting ready for something but knowing the girls it will be something with as little involvement as possible.
