When you think about a demo it is nice to hear for fans but it isn't going to replace the original on playlists or be a go to for anyone, same with live tracks Remixes are only successful if they are done by a top name producer or completely change a song from say ballad to dance song and it is like hearing a new song. Feed your love has done 600k plays but isn't on there main playlist (this is) so those plays are all people actively going on the Spice25 album to play it.

The video David posted is about to hit 40 million views on his Insta.

The website is also now being run by Universal and 'Motive Unkown' who oversee campaigns as well as lots of other things for artists. They had a hand in Robbie's latest album and campaign. I'm confident they had nothing to do with the SW25 campaign as they have nothing about it on their insta like they have of Robbie but list the Spice Girls on their website.

I would say too much effort is going into making the website a proper website for it to be for no reason. There was also an individual page and bio of each girl that they have hidden after it being found yesterday. Given all this costs time and money it must be being done for a reason as if they wanted a website full of music, videos, bios, live stuff they would have had it ready for when the site was relaunched 6 weeks ago.

Yeah the odd error but hopefully will be ironed out. I cant see any reason to bother doing all this unless a tour announcement is days away. Also if the live section was merely for historical tour stuff it would all launch together as an update. They are obviously holding a 'live' tab for the moment a tour is announced. The website is also controled by Universal and a music marketing and management firm now in the terms and conditions.

The official website has had loads uploaded, a music section with the albums, links to stream descriptions. A video section with a full set of music videos and live videos on their Youtube channel. Looks and feels like 2018 website now when they launched the tour than the Spice25 and Spiceworld25 one where it was basically a store. They are obviously expecting increased traffic to the website. I'd expect a tour announcement asap.

Amazingly after a day and a half the video of 4 Spice Girls dancing to SYBT is now the most watched video David Beckham has ever posted on Insta. It is about to hit 30 million views.

Tbf to them it was only because one fan decided to type in lots of things after thespicegirls and add .com at the end that they were found. Hopefully an announcement is happening asap.

The official social media really are crap. They have done nothing to take advantage of the hype. I think it is the GH 15th anniversary today, perfect time to get a post and link up to stream it while everyone is on a Spice Girls high. Imagine a clip of the girls dancing last night to SYBT with a caption 'Have your very own Spice Girls dance party by streaming our GH on its 15th anniversary #friendshipneverends' and a link to it.

The Spice Girls social media storied the video from David and instead of being clever and putting up the next story straight away as the advert for SW25 they have done nothing. They have had over 10k extra followers in a day that they could have exposed to SW25 for the first time. Sigh.

The video posted by David on his Insta is now his 2nd most viewed video ever and has passed 20 million views. His most viewed has 27.8m hopefully it can pass that this evening.

Just hit 100k views on Youtube in less than 4 days. Nice that NGUOTGT has an official video now and although not a single it gets it time to shine.

Insta now up to 860k thanks to the David Beckham video and tagging the official account. Depressing how easily they could be at 1m with a bit more interaction from the girls towards the social media acounts.

There is nothing for a casual fan to bug though. It is £25 or more vinyls or a store exclusive £19.99 cassette. I'm sure Spice25 CD got a few casual sales even being pricey as I'm sure SW25 CD will too. They look better in HMV will be stocked everywhere that sells CDs too.

It is nice to see Geri and Victoria actually loosen up and look like they are having fun. Mel C's insta says more to come soon.

I doubt they will do anything to salvage things. I don't see them doing price reductions and I cant see them throwing money at promo like tv adverts for it. Feels like when the CD was delayed and the negative reaction to the tracklist they just sort of gave up and let things play out with minimal extra effort.

Shocking. There might be missing data in yesterday's update we wont know unless we get detailed mids.

Another thing Universal are also shit at is price reductions. The zoetrope vinyl is still full price as is the Wannabe vinyl on the official store. As are the few remaining Sporty and Scary individual vinyls. Most artists these days reduce the price half way through release week let alone over a year after.

There hasn't been a single post on social media about streaming the album, Universal defo don't seem to care about it. All the direction for streaming has gone into Youtube, which surprise surprise I'm sure I remember reading an article that Youtube pays the best per stream. SW25 was really up against it compared to Spice25. Spice25 had 12 new formats, 10 of them were under £19.99 on the official store. It also had a push from Spotify with the spice bus and drag queens plus dolby atmos. SW25 has 4 formats on release week with the cheapest being a £19.99 double cassette with absolutely no push on streaming and no dolby atmos. The only formats HMV have for release week are two £30 vinyls and Amazon has 1 £25 vinyl as the only format out on release week. Honestly it is surprising it might actually do as well as a 3rd of Spice25 sales opening week.

You'll never see all 5 together unless there is a massive amount of ££££ to earn from it. They have been all 5 together several times the last few years but will never waste that big moment unless it is now for something big.
