Hot and Reason could get released, especially for these record store or album days as labels get an extra push through those days they wouldn't get through a reissue on just a normal week. Of all the non Virgin solo albums oddly I think L.A State of mind would be the most likely to get a vinyl. The licence would be cheap and say a tiny label like plastic pop would love to release a solo Spice Girls album. Mel B would happily get behind it too, signing copies, promoting it.

This whole festival has been cancelled, all 6 dates due to low ticket sales. Must put Mel in a bit if a shit position as the other 5 dates in OZ probably don't warrant going now but she would probably lose money to pull out of them. Would be ok if they were close together but they are like 2 weeks apart from 1st to last so that is flights and two weeks accomdation for just the 5 gigs.

Dua Lipa team will be going all out for number 1, hence why they delayed the release by 3 weeks as there was no chance of beating Noah on SRC. There was no other reason to delay it when announcing it 3 weeks ago and with a Grammy performance. They are basically giving away the physicals too, 3 formats for less than £7.

Yeah this is what happened. Emma's team tried to sort a vinyl but Universal weren't interested (they can hardly be bothered for Spiceworld the 2nd biggest selling girl group album ever) and 19 aren't in the music business anymore. Emma's team aren't a music team. I guess if Emma really really wanted to she could hire someone to sort out the rights and then buy them but she would have to hope a label would then want to pay for those rights to release something or Emma do it independently, which aint happening. The absolute best case would be a small label look at buying the rights and sorting, producing and distributing a Free Me release all themself and Emma gets on board to promote it. As I just cant see how else it would be resolved now.

She hasn't had one of those hits that you just cant escape from like Someone like you, Hello or Shape of you. We are also in an era where tv performances are so few. You can be absolutely huge these days but still be sort of in a bubble. Like she is huge on Instagram but only if you use Instagram or follow her does that matter. Adele/Ed at their peak were everywhere, Brits, X factor, big TV chat shows, ITV specials and so on. You can easily not really know a Taylor Swift song or who she really is if you want. Most people wont even know how many albums Taylor has. Again it isn't like Adele where you were hit in the face with a big stand with her new album in every supermarket. What Taylor does have is fans now can add waaaaay more sales to an artist than before. The multiple formats and endless streaming mean Taylor fans add way more album sales to her now than my 1 copy of Spice back in 1996 that I played endlessly.

I'm not sure Taylor is over exposed or even that exposed. My mum would know her name but not really any of her songs but she could name a few Adele or Ed songs. Taylor just has a massive hardcore fanbase who stream her 24/7 and are a bit scary how much they worship her. She absolutely doesn't need the GP, not in the UK and I don't think that many of your average Joe cares or listens to her beyond her being on a playlist they might listen too.
