  2. I've heard the full version of this. The last 45 seconds were the most unexpected but incredible experience. I can't say much more but I'm pretty sure anyone who has doubts will be blown away. Its a smash hit single.
  3. http://soundcloud.com/d-b-x/dbx-ft-amelle-god-wont-save-u Utterly fantastic.
  4. We'll be hearing things quite soon! Amelle & Tulisa are currently both after the same track, which is quite funny. Seems a fair bit of money is going into this.
  5. With the rumor of 4.0 being dropped by Sony surfacing (From a blog...) I'm just posting to clear things up. They have NOT been dropped as they are now signed to & managed by CROWN Talent & Media Group, Sony RCA UK works in partnership with Crown and acts as a DISTRIBUTOR, not a label for the Sugababes. Amelle has been in the studio by herself recording music backed by Crown/Sony and will probably be releasing a single in early 2012. Following later in the year will be her album and new Sugababes material (their single is still "Hard" as far as I'm aware), probably after Heidi finishes Dancing On Ice. Amelle will be in the spotlight via her solo efforts and Heidi will also be in the public eye because of DOI. Amelle has not left the group and will be with them for the release of album 8, should it be released. EDIT: There are however sources (such as one of Siobhan's close friends) saying he doesn't think 4.0 will be releasing next year, which is a bit strange and maybe hints at 1.0 re-establishing themselves and the 4.0 girls staying solo. Either way, as of now, they're not dropped but something has happened - official announcement coming very soon apparently.
  6. Incase it's not been mentioned, the Deluxe Fan Edition comes signed by the girls.
  7. Freedom wasn't written by them, so hopefully the tracks they've written will be great. "Hard" is about is about being destroyed by a previous relationship and entering a new one thinking "If this doesn't make me happy, I'll just go back to being hard, being the ice queen that no-one can touch".
  8. No. Due to poor airplay, Freedom is now available for Free, via Amazon. A new lead single will follow.
  9. The track they think they're going with for the new single is indeed called Hard. It was produced by The Invisible Men and is the track they told me was better than Freedom. They only recorded it recently, Freedom was done months and months ago while they were still with Island.
  10. The girls told me personally that the second single is a lot better than Freedom, and they really love Freedom. Surely thats a good sign.
  11. A new single & the album are still going ahead. Freedom will be branded a taster (Although we all know it basically flopped) and a second release will happen in January. The album will follow, all being well. They have not been dropped. They're essentially starting the campaign with RCA over again in the new year, and recording up to then.
  12. That's not true at all. If they didn't have digital rights, they wouldn't even be able to give it away for free under the name "Sugababes". Mutley has her wrapping paper, not digital rights.
  13. They're swapping the lead single, it seems.
  14. Overload. An utterly overrated, bland piece of music.
  15. Criminal lack of Heidi on this, she would have sounded incredible.
  16. Overload is so shit, it hurts. One of the most overrated songs in existence.
  17. Easy, Freedom, Freak Like Me, About You Now, Get Sexy, Girls, Push The Buttom, Hole In The Head, Overload. That's my rating anyway. Not many will agree, I presume.
  18. Brilliant performance from Manchester Pride:
  19. Backdown posted a post in a topic in Sugababes's Sugababes
Just had the go ahead from Amelle that I'm allowed to talk about the track. Jade told me on Friday it's called "Hard" and is produced by the invisible men. She described it as "Better than Freedom" and a "Floorfiller".
  20. I met the 'Babes yesterday. They were in Liverpool on the radio tour so we waited outside Juice FM and at around 3 o'clock they arrived in their tour car. They posed happily for the paparazzi and then took their time to stop and chat with the fans who waited. Amelle recognised me from our previous meetings and gave me a big hug and thanked me for running her twitter fan page, which was lovely. I managed to get some snaps with the girls (sorry if I look a bit off, I'd had 2 hours sleep). http://i55.tinypic.com/a0ffx5.jpg http://i55.tinypic.com/1zpjx49.jpg http://i56.tinypic.com/24ex43s.jpg http://i53.tinypic.com/30t2uis.jpg I managed to ask some questions about the new album, they're still recording a few bits and bobs and they said it's dancey but not typical club dancey. I discussed the second single with Jade (I'm still not sure if I can post the name, though) and she said she personally feels its a lot better than Freedom. They went in to do their radio interview and then afterwards came back out and spent a further five or so minutes chatting to fans and signing things for us. They were so lovely and seemed genuinely thrilled to be doing what they do. Amelle said being on tour and getting to meet their fans is her favourite part of her job. They were super generous for spending so much time with us and incredibly kind. It's made my year meeting them again.

  23. The ThunderCatz remix is absolutely brilliant!
  24. Official behind the scenes video from the set of "Freedom" - Freak Like Me meets Dred Dress meets Get Sexy?
  25. The dubstep is only omitted due to it being the radio edit, don't worry. It will be on the proper version that's getting released. Here's the track again incase anyone missed it:
