I really like this! A bit special with that catchy chorus all by itself around some cozy, simple verses. Light and fresh!
Love that ba-ba-ba-ri-ra-ta-ta-ra-ra too! Could appeal to both indie and pop voters.. would be a really good choice too imo This post has been edited by Freeze: 8th April 2010, 12:31 AM |

Could someone remove two of my above posts? My internet went a bit slow a moment there and I pressed the "add reply"-button a bit too much Sorry

Damn! I was just having a nose over all the national threads before posting any of my ideas. Sky Ferreira's song was one of them, it must be said. I vastly prefer her cover of "Animal" (which I've been considering for months) but this is definitely more BJSC suitable. Not sure it's as catchy as it could be though.

I don't remember if I have listen to Animal but I've just discovered '17' 2 days ago, and fell in love with it immediately.
but since we're still almost a month from the last day of confirmations, chances that I'm gonna send her are 50/50. |

Same, I hadn't heard it until she posted the video. "Animal" is the Miike Snow song, her version is basically just her and a piano, quite haunting. That was another reason I'd tried to be slow to announce anything. If anyone listens to my songs before, they'll be bored when the contest comes around. |

That was another reason I'd tried to be slow to announce anything. If anyone listens to my songs before, they'll be bored when the contest comes around. That's exactly why I don't reveal my entry/entries until at least reservations. I don't want anyone to be bored of it/them. Though it could also be that I get tired of my song/s myself. Besides my final entry would be more fresh in mind when I confirm it. And let's not forget the 'excitement' of not knowing what I'm going to send.. keeps the mystery going etc by giving clues |

fair enough but the reason why I'm revealing my possible entries is because of the fear that somebody else might consider also ala She & Him which apparently 4 four people wants them.
still chances are wide open for anyone who wants Sky...I might well not be in here when reservation opens. EDIT: lol Was it really necessary to type number 4 also in letters This post has been edited by Addy!: 8th April 2010, 09:58 PM |

I know what you mean, and I agree.. although you can't really defend yourself if anyone else wants your entry =/ So if you know of a good one, and you haven't seen anyone else taking an interest in it. Do not reveal
Edit: Leave it, just funny This post has been edited by Freeze: 8th April 2010, 10:03 PM |

Do not reveal Hmm.. and if you did find something incredible, and at the same time see someone reveals it in their national thread. You could just take it in reservations and claim you never saw it/didn't knew This post has been edited by Freeze: 8th April 2010, 10:06 PM |

Do not reveal Edit: Leave it, just funny however no matter how much you try to keep the undiscovered, again when you see the other expresses interest or confirms that he loves that song, you do not feel comfortable and leave without even saying that you have considered the same artist or song. and did Aaron just confirmed what I said above. Hmm.. and if you did find something incredible, and at the same time see someone reveals it in their national thread. You could just take it in reservations and claim you never saw it/didn't knew NOW that's what I call a thief |

Sunday Girl – Four Floors - It's not bad but nothing special, either. Too generic.
Sky Ferreira – 17 - This is better (although the chorus is really bad) but still far from points, tbh. Sorry. |

Both songs are very good, i think Sky would stand a greater chance of getting points from me, and probably has a better appeal

Thanks Palmyra...I'm loving both songs atm and still unsure which one will do better.
