So... The Power Workout Mix... could chart inside the top 40... just great, along with the original version from Meghan, can't wait double doss of All About That Bass on Sunday "prepares ear plugs" sad.gif

Personally, I think Bang Bang is a jam, and deserves to be #1. Sounds great blasting it out loud

Sounds even better on mute.

Jessie J new single Burnin Up has premiered ft 2 Chainz..its released tomorrow worldwide(except UK and Ireland),her album is releases the 10th of October, so it should be released in the next week or 2..that means Bang Bang and this will be released within 2 weeks of each other..will Bang Bang not overshadow it?,she will def have 2 singles in the top 10 at once anyway..

Surely this Power Music Workout song... all the people buying it genuinely prefer this version because I refuse to believe people think it's the official version with an artist credential like THAT.

If the official version charts due to streaming it will simply highlight how ridiculous the pre order system is now!

I prefer it too...although it basically turns it into a novelty 90s cheese anthem.

I find the original rather irritating, not a fan of the production really!

good to see I'm not the only one who loves the Power Workout Music version of All About That Bass! I love the extra 'oomph' that version gives it, would love it to go top 40 just for Jameela's reaction to it.

I'm not a huge fan of alt-J's new stuff but as they're the biggest current artist to not have a top 40 hit to their name they deserve it for the purpose of reflecting their popularity.

Agreed, definitely has more 'oomph'. The original doesn't seem to have any official remixes yet but I do hope there's one that sounds like the Workout mix (doubtful but still).

'Say Something' must be one of Simon Cowell's favourite songs. He used it last year for his winning act on the US X Factor, it's been used prominently on this year's X Factor and now Ella Henderson has covered it in the Live Lounge.

I think I'd cry if it's actually used as the winning song this year...

They won't play it anyway - they never play the pre-release cover versions these days

I know that!

Jameela will still have to announce that a fake version has entered the chart though!

They better not do a really predictable cover as the winning song this year. I can't see anyone pulling Say Something off and making it their own.

The song only works when someone puts all their emotion into it and has a personal connection. With X Factor winner singles it isn't the case ('Hallelujah' aside imo) so yeah, wouldn't work.
