I think we can unquestionably claim it's a bigger hit than 'New Rules' now, can't we?

Hmmm not quiet there yet tbh.
Don't forget how big New Rules was on YT as well. It's complicated measuring popularity between them two outside the UK. Like I see DSN peaked better in many countries and I can say that DSN actually established and made general public recognize her name...yeah it's more delicate than we think but both of them have done wonders for her career tbh. |

I think we can unquestionably claim it's a bigger hit than 'New Rules' now, can't we? Don't Start Now definitely feels like the bigger and more global hit to me. It got really unlucky being stuck at number 2 behind Dance Monkey on so many charts around the world. It still has some way to go to overtake New Rules' Spotify and UK sales totals but could get there eventually. New Rules' UK sales total I am guessing is slightly inflated due to it being a 2017 release as well. New Rules will remain the bigger hit on YouTube though for obvious reasons, Don't Start Now is still only on 230million views there. |
