so far i'm still trying to gage an opinion on the record...
it's either trying too hard to be a inde-pop cool era (similarly to 1989) or its absolutely fantastic... even though its sonically quite pop, it's her least poppiest effort really. |

Hits different is a BOP. It’s kinda giving me poppier Fearless vibes. This should’ve def made the album aha, I wonder how long it’ll take for it to be uploaded to streaming (the folkmore bonus tracks were both about 3 weeks later). But the folkmore were bonus tracks on all physical editions whereas HD is a target bonus track so maybe it’ll be more like 1989 (when they hit streaming around the end of the year iirc)

Sweet nothing (piano version) sounds basically identical to the original and is pointless, and you’re on your own kid (strings version) is slightly less pointless but still doesn’t feel too differential from the original to ever go back to that version
