Posted December 13, 201014 yr Hi :) I've been noticing the reshuffle chart has been running a bit dry of late- I wondered if this is because people are getting bored of it, I have an idea for a new monthly chart game starting in the new year that could replace it, if you want to the basic rules will be that I will list all the new entries that have entered the top 40 that month, what you will need to do is to simply rank them putting your LEAST FAVOURITE at the top of the list going down and putting your LEAST DISLIKED at the bottom, the song with the least points wins- this way I think is better than putting it favourite-least favourite this will happen monthly and the game will remain open throughout the month- I will bump it up in the last week though, and reveal the results in the next game, as for the current reshuffle chart, if this game gets more yes votes and the reshuffle chart gets more yes votes then I will pass the game on to someone who would be willing to take it, if the game gets more no votes and the reshuffle gets more votes to stay, I will abandon the idea for this altogether please let me know what you think in the thread and I will check back at the end of the year Thanks Edited December 13, 201014 yr by chart wizard
December 13, 201014 yr Author sorry for not making this clear, but if you want the reshuffle chart to stay but you don't want this game to go ahead, please say in the thread :)
December 13, 201014 yr I don;t see why not. I did something similar on another forum a couple of years aog, where all the top 40 songs from that month were rated from -10 to +10 and 0 given to songs not known.
December 13, 201014 yr Don't mind if this game goes ahead or not, it sounds like a good idea. As this is monthly and The Reshuffle Chart is weekly I still think the Reshuffle Chart is better and would like to see it stay.
December 13, 201014 yr Yeah, as long as it's a ranking game, and not a scoring game. Like I started a game on another forum, asking people to score the #1s from the year so far, and literally half of the people posting gave Bad Romance and Airplanes 10, and everything else 0, which is just immature imo. A ranking game is better as it makes people have to actually compare the tracks, rather than just saying "I only like Bad Romance and Airplanes, so they get full marks, and every other song gets nothing". That said, most of the people posting there are part of that "Chart music is pathetic Simon Cowell trash" movement, so I guess they probably didn't even know most of the songs.

So yeah if its scoring I will probably give most of them the same mark. And it will be too Buzzjack stereotypical (e.g Poison getting 10/10 and The Time getting 0/10), don't get me wrong they're both good songs!
December 13, 201014 yr I like the sound of this game, so I voted yes towards it going ahead, but I also enjoy doing the reshuffle every week, so I'd also like it to stay.
December 13, 201014 yr I really enjoy the Reshuffle Chart. Its prob the only game I get involved with every week on Buzzjack
