Galavant manage to qualify, come 12th in the final

In the latest edition of BuzzJack's very own Song Contest Yehesi sent Galavant to represent us.

To our surprise we qualified for the final with an amazing 6th place and even made it to #12 in the final, despite many predicting it to do worse than that.

With 103 points, recieved from 20 players Galavant set a new record for Yehesi, the most points and the highest placing!

While Galavant is surging further on nearing the top of the charts in Yehesi, we're hoping it can make some impact on the charts in the rest of the world.

Here were our scores for the final, with shoutouts to Aquafina and Espen for just missing out

12 Bignia-Zaragovina 8,9

10 Kopecka 8,5

08 FSR Rontvia 8,4

07 Sandénia 8,2

06 Numayania 8,2

05 D'yermak'er 8,1

04 Séyetana 8,1

03 Danaelanda 8

02 Botanikka 8

01 Bellamia 8.4 (minus 0.5 for cheapness)

We'd like to thank Greenfroze, Cadelicia, Hendinia and Aquafina for their amazing taste

Also we'd like to thank Danaelanda, Bellamia, Ramrynia, Ben's Sanctuary, Ojnoj and Scruvovnia for their great taste

And last bu not least we'd like to thank Bignia-Zaragovina, Tinnmark, Usfland, Juranabaijan, Singerpurear, Daehun, Kluminican Republic, Persephonia, Sandénia and Ashton for their good, but imporvable taste!

We are very excited to see the contest move to Skall next month. Our juries gave the song 5 points, but the tele-voters didn't help it mantain those points

Yehesi go for Dance Pop again!

Yehesi have selected their entry and Wolfgang & Medina are the lucky ones. All our financial sources were emptied to get them to perform for us, but we've managed to book them.

After Galavant secured us a #12 position with Tonight, which was also a dance pop song, why change the formula?

The Yehesian people are hoping for a third qualification in our 3 contest history, but we're in an incredibly strong semi-final so our faith depends on the people of the Buzzjack World.

Wolfgang & Medina fail to qualify!

Tonight the results of the 2 semi finals have been announced and sadly Yehesi failed to qualify.

After scoring 12/13 in the predictions and a 30/1 in the odds, there just weren't enough votes for us*

The Anti-BJSC brigade is already causing an uproar, claiming racism and suggesting to pull out.

There are even rumours there must've been a miscount!

But the Yehesian people will take their loss with our heads held high, eventhough we should've qualified.

Actually we already have a few options for the next contest!

If we can scrape the money in, we will compete once again and return to the final with a bang!

For now, take another listen at our amazing, but criminally underrated, entry for this contest

*actual results and voting figures to be announced later this week

What went wrong? :( Another brilliant entry here, shame it disqualified and that we couldn't vote for it.

The YBC reveals BJSC LVII entry

Last night saw the opening of the Semi-Finals of the BuzzJack Song Contest LVII.

The YBC are pleased to reveal our entry for this month

http://i41.tinypic.com/335b290.jpg

Yes, it's true. Martin Garrix has agreed to represent Yehesi with his latest smash Animals.

We are hoping to reach the final again, but that remains unsure as Yehesi got put in Semi 1 and it doesn't look like a semi that is likely

to appreciate the gem that is Animals. But we remain hopefull for a place in the final.

BuzzJack, Animals' faith is in your hands!

You'll need to update your subheading Tim. :D

Yes, 'Animals' was the track I had considered sending but wasn't 100% sure of sending it or not, for the same reasons as Robot posted actually about it going top 75 on iTunes. 'Animals' is gonna be a massive hit regardless of how it fares in BJSC.

Yeah I was kinda worried about it too, but I had an amazing back-up so I just decided to try

What a cheap hoe you are Tim! :P

I too decided not to put Animals in my potentials list as it went top 100 on iTunes and is a possible future top 40 hit. Otherwise I may have sent it as I love it more than my own entry

If either you or Rob had decided to send it this contest as well then it would definitely have been vetoed  You got lucky Tim. I'm sure this'll be a new peak for you anyway.

That was my biggest concern as Haus told me someone else was considering it too, but life's boring without a lil' risk :P

Martin Garrix qualifies for the final, Yehesi reveals new map, flag and leader

Important things first, Yehesi have managed to qualify for the final of the BuzzJack Song Contest LVII.

With our killer dance track Animals, which seemed a favourite with a lot of people, Martin Garrix is aiming for a top 10 position.

Odds suggested we'd come second in our semi final and there seems to be more hype surrounding us than we ever had.

The YBC are not holding their breathes though and are aiming at a top 15 placing, which should be doable.

Meanwhile, due to bad leadership and a terrible economic situation, our leader Ms. Hilda has been deposed and we are currently leaderless until further notice.

The bad decisions made by Hilda have led to a debt of 120% of the National Income. In the next few weeks elections should be held and a new leader shall be chosen. From now on Yehesi will be led by a president instead of a Queen or King.

To celebrate our qualification and our fresh new start the National Flag Comite have revealed our new national flag.

http://i40.tinypic.com/jakos7.gif

Furthermore the National Map Comite has announced the new map of Yehesi, with more detailed borders and cities. St Niad is not Port St. Niad and has replaced Korad Upon Leyr as our prime harbour. New cities have popped up and grown.

Yehesi finishes 14th in BJSC LVII

Last night the result show of BJSC LVII was held in Trifoski. Yehesi were predicted to finish top 10 (7th according to the odds) but failed to make it there.

In the end we finished on a decent 14th place, something that can be seen as a victory.

Animals is our 2nd placing at #14, together with last motnhs entry Echoes, which then scored 95 points. Animals managed to score 94 points and is now our 3rd best result.

Our votes were as followed

12 Ojnoj (30th)

10 Sandebörg (10th)

08 Aquafina (7th)

07 Altyr Muunilinst (12th)

06 Ashton, Federal Republic Of (3rd)

05 #00274E (5th)

04 Kathaldazia (15th)

03 Espen (6th)

02 Sandénia (18th)

01 Danaelanda (13th)

Our next entry is already decided and it is amazing, so BJSC get ready!
