  1. 1 The Twilight Sad 2 American Football 3 Mitski 4 Gorillaz 5 Artemas 6 Laufey 7 The Temper Trap 8 Kingfishr 9 Melanie Martinez 10 Morrissey The Twilight Sad 3 for 3 on the bangers. The Americ anFootball song was a bit slow to start with but gets very good in the second half, Mitski's also got better as it went along and I expect it'll grow on me more (as 'Where's My Phone?' did). Also hope the Gorillaz song will grow on me, feels like there was a lot going on in it and it wasn't quite working for me on first listen as much as I wanted it to. Artemas and Laufey songs are both pretty good, The Temper Trap's is ok but it's no 'Sweet Disposition', the Kingfishr song got off to a good start with the harmonica but then didn't really go anywhere, Melanie song has some interesting elements but is overall a bit annoying and I really don't know what Morrissey is doing (although the instrumental part near the end is quite good).
  2. 1 Slayyyter 2 ena mori 3 Erin LeCount 4 BLACKPINK 5 LØLØ 6 Bea 7 Presley Regier 8 Avery Cochrane 9 Melanie Martinez 10 Alex Warren 11 Lauv 12 Ava Max Afraid it's another week of nothing that I particularly want to revisit, the Slayyyter song gets my vote this time but it's not nearly as good as 'DANCE...' oop (wow that Ava song is not good though x)
  3. It's been the scoring system in Unknown Pleasures since the 3rd edition so you'd have to go back to 2010 to get an answer to that. (I was going to say it's always been the system used in this but digging back in the archive the first 2 editions only had people voting for a top 10 with the 20 and 7 pointers omitted).
  4. I think Beaverdonia will win.
  5. She has 13 songs that have made the top 200 on UK Spotify (you can sort this page on Kworb under 'GB'). (totally forgot that 'VULGAR' existed lol)

This isn't an 'if', EOY charts have always been based on unadjusted totals.

Great to see 'White Keys' looking safe to go top 40 this week after just being denied by the last minute Kate Bush reset last week! Bella gaining on Alex but probably not by enough to get to #2 this week.
  8. With the usual caveat of 'not sure why I am attempting to argue with Hadji', 'The Great Divide' has been top 15 for a month, that's hardly 'flash in the pan'.
  9. Also 'Lazarus' - that being right before 'I Can Die Now' in the running order here is a bit spooky x
  10. Does Delta have any big guns?
  11. I'm surprised that JENNIE remix of 'Dracula' has actually had some legs, it's not great lol. But still love the original so I won't complain x
  12. That was chartstats - it got shut down by the OCC presumably because they were just about to launch their site revamp which has the same functionality (or at least attempts to).
  13. My only tactic is saving one particular song for the Golden Wagner (or whatever equivalent) if needed. Otherwise I'm just going with whatever I'm vibing with at the moment the forms go up. (Although I have been out since round 2 anyway ofc xx)
