They should have pushed this weeks ago. What is happening?

I have to agree — I’m not sure if that’s because I know (and adore) the source material, or if it’s due to poor writing. Bella was fantastic in the hospital scene, so it’s not a criticism of her performance. Ellie’s descent into anger and grief, and her fixation on revenge, hasn’t really come across well. It feels rushed — my usual complaint. The whole story just needed more time. With a flashback episode and then a finale that’s going to cover a lot (and feel like a lot), everything is moving too quickly — but a lot feels unsubstantial, too, somehow. I feel a bit silly because I’ve hyped up the second game so much, and they haven’t really nailed it. That said, narratively, this season has confirmed how much stronger the second half of the game is (for me). I'm excited for that in the third season — the locals are in for a treat with the set pieces alone

‘Nice to Know You’ has sent me into an early grave, and I couldn’t be happier — sampling 'Spiral' is so random but inspired (I need a 'Song 4 Mutya' sample next, per favore) She’s improved exponentially on this project compared to 'Heaven Knows', which didn't hit for me. The production is tight, referential, bops on bops on bops, just so deliciously and ridiculously British. Basement Jaxx x Groove Armada x PinkPantheress when?

That album gets a lot of unwarranted flak — I have always loved it, incredible live at the time too. It still feels inherently Arcade Fire while exploring completely different sonics for them. It's an album full of gems. It's been diminishing returns since sadly

This is how I feel about the entire thing — although it does give me the ick to think that I would have continued happily listening to it and ignored the allegations if it had been good. It's a long way short of the quality of 'Reflektor' (seems more appropriate — much as I do love that album), and even compared to 'WE', it's shoddy

Neliöär is cheap, noisy, and statistically unreliable — just like our entry this month

It's completely gone. There is no need to separate the art from the artist with this one. This is limp and offers absolutely nothing — it feels more like an unnecessary side-project by Win and Régine than an Arcade Fire record.

It was such a great mix of entries (justice for feeble little horse!) — can’t wait to see what everyone brings to the next Unknown Pleasures later this year I'm happy with a top ten finish for 'Over Me'. It feels right that tastemakers @Brer and @Doctor Blind love it as much as I do 🖤 Make it happen

This is gorgeous. The production I cannot deal with trip hop inspiring so many artists at the moment, especially when done this well

Almost top ten in the US is ridiculous

My biggest issue with the show has always been how condensed everything feels — which I understand, but I wish they'd allowed themselves a few more episodes to let things breathe. I love all the worldbuilding and development they've done with minor characters, or with new characters who didn’t exist in the game, but I feel it’s come at the expense of the main story
