Coming for that top 10 and global smash ❤️ As much as I’ve been stanning Zara because she’s my girlie, PinkPantheress deserves this so so much. An artist that will stand the test of time for sure and will continue to influence and shape pop music and its image for the next few years. I don’t think we’re even seeing her at her peak yet either.

DANCE… is easily the best of this album so far. Personally speaking, I’ve been struggling to get into this album’s output as much as her previous, but I feel like she’s coming into her own sound as an artist more than ever before, so I’m happy for her from that angle. A lot of it has been quite abrasive but lacking in anything that sticks in my head (apart from Beat Up Chanel$), but Dance is a wonderful mix between Troubled Paradise era and her current sound so I’m on board and will continue to wish her further success. She’s incredible live aswell, an absolute force when I saw her in December.

Actually, I've just looked into it and seen that Super Love Me would've been up against Infohazard if it was sent to its first available contest. So maybe not x

Oh, Super Love Me would've WALKED. I'm intrigued in hindsight, seeing that it's not kept up with Super Love Me here, whether Fleeting would've actually been able to beat Luukered out in the contest that it was vetoed from.

I mean, it is very OBVIOUSLY and KNOWINGLY inspired by Inna/Alexandra Stan/Edward Maya etc. But I think it very much speaks to Zara's brand of sparkly, glittery, summery pop - this is the just the more playful side. You'd probably enjoy Blue Moon most from the album, if you enjoy Zara's current evolution in its most "mature" form.

I'd be gagged if this were true but this reeks of fans trying to drum up fake hype. The Grammy's don't really seem like the type to seek out the current viral trend either, more so, they focus on the main nominees and credibility.

But no really, glad my votes have shot Agnes up to top 10 because... why was she not there? So excited to see her at the end of the month x

I still think Freidland's first entry (Just For Fun) sounded like a hit and I remember remarking so in the predictions thread for that. I'm not sure I feel the same for this entry but I always love to champion different countries doing well so I hope it happens for them, Ennea, Zephyra Continuum soon, if not this contest! I don't think you're wrong though. I am definitely guilty of never being able to let myself into the thinking that Aeroche/Nelionoir/Kathaldazia will DNQ, because they so rarely do. That kind of conscious bias is really hard to shift from your thinking when you're trying to apply logic to something that is very difficult to predict.

My thought process with Pestolia being on the bubble, as opposed to your lock list, is that it does sound strong but the "dance/electronic" bloc is the strongest this contest and I think Aeroche/Cumulonimbia/Kathaldazia/Mothertopia are more likely to take the big points there? Comparably, Valencia (and perhaps Klavdia) is the only straight up pop song in the safe list, so Herbilore seem like a likely beneficiary of that.

Jeez, I wasn't completely active in the listenthrough yesterday but that really does highlight how much harder it is to predict 20 out of 32. I'd have called Herbilore, Terra Avium and Nelionoir making it for sure. And some of your locks, I'd probably have around the bubble. VERY UNPREDICTABLE.
