I gave the new song a listen the other day and went down a bit of a rabbit hole. I cannot believe how much I dislike her stuff after Come on over!? The Come on over album is my favourite of all time and follow ups just don't live up to it at all. 🫢

The Bruno Mars song is ok however, the fact this went to #1 and the FAR superior Edge of glory by Gaga only got #6 that week is an absolute travesty! Also, this going to #1 and Marry you only achieving #11 (which is one of Bruno's BEST songs in my opinion) is such a WTF? The military wives one does nothing for me, yes it is nice and all but I've no interest in listening to it. A distant friend was a part of the assemble though which was quite cool.

I'll be honest I don't get the Amy Winehouse one. She was never a singles artist anyway, she didn't have any massive hits just one huuuuuuge album - which then boosted the sales of her first album and her posthumous album - which was also boosted by her dying tbh. I'm more surprised that Shaina Twain doesn't have one over her as Man I feel like a woman and That don't impress me much are legit huge singles - I'd argue Still the one aswell.
