Spotify streams: 171m Year: 2004 UK Chart: {27}-66->2 MCR's fanbase is not to be underestimated, they'll make quite a few showings here as they were one of the defining rock bands of the decade. Not familiar with this one but rather good as you'd expect for them. #983 OneRepublic - Stop And Stare Spotify streams: 171m Year: 2007 UK Chart: 11-9-8-{4}-4-4-9-11-15-19-22-28-35-32-40-37-44-51-58-59-66-58-61->23 The second UK hit for OneRepublic and it remains a lot better than any of their hits from the past decade. Think it's been years since I've heard this last so a good revisit here. #982 Aphex Twin - Avril 14th Spotify streams: 171m Year: 2001 UK Chart: DNC Aphex Twin is mostly known for weird electronica however his biggest streaming hit is a piano ballad that clearly benefitted a fair bit from being friendly to mood playlists. A very pleasant listen anyhow. #981 The Dandy Warhols - Bohemian Like You Spotify streams: 171m Year: 2000 UK Chart: {5}-10-16-25-36-41-46-52-55-63->10 One of the classic indie-pop hits of the early 00s, very fun song. #980 JAY-Z - 03' Bonnie & Clyde Spotify streams: 171m Year: 2002 UK Chart: {2}-4-9-13-12-19-22-32-45-55-55-65->12 The song that introduced the power couple of Jay and Bey... |

Only know 'Follow Me' by Uncle Kracker which is a tune but nothing else. Should give this a spin.
'The Ghost of You' is decent MCR, 'Stop and Stare' is a great track from OneRepublic and then 'Bohemian Like You' is a certified classic. |

Spotify streams: 172m Year: 2006 UK Chart: DNC The Black Parade was such a big album that we'll be getting multiple non-singles from it here. Seemingly weren't so big in the UK where this was their only top 40 hit. #972 Miike Snow - Animal Spotify streams: 172m Year: 2009 UK Chart: DNC Swedish indie group one member who would later form Galantis. #971 Chris Brown - Say Goodbye Spotify streams: 172m Year: 2005 UK Chart: DNC Why? Thankfully not a UK hit anyway. #970 Arctic Monkeys - Old Yellow Bricks Spotify streams: 172m Year: 2007 UK Chart: DNC Looks like there'll be a good few appearances from them here, including some album tracks. |

Some fantastic songs here plus a discovery for me - I did not know Miike Snow was related to Galantis! Christian of Miile Snow was 1/2 of Galantis until 2017. Thank you Google
Also the deceiving named The Wombats aren’t Aussie  Unless that was an animal pun on your behalf then I have been lampoonedThose MCR, OR, Coldplay, Kasabian, and Wolfmother tracks are some of their finest. Hopefully it shows up later but Wolfmother’s Joker And The Thief is one of my all time favourite rock songs |

'Violet Hill', 'Dead!', 'Disenchanted' all good songs popping up there. '9 Crimes' is also quite nice and IYNTO only 966
 for such a big hit for Daniel too. Shakira's is great and sounds like she's about to go into 'Don't Bother' which I guess isn't much a surprise with it coming out the next year!Edit : 'Cry For You' also a tune too of course. |

Yes Christina! Hurt remains stunning and feels deserving of a far better chart life than it had. Two weeks at #11 was so frustrating at the time.
