Dorna has signed a Memorandum of Understanding to bring MotoGP to India for a seven-year period, with the first race expected to take place as early as 2023. The circuit will be at the Buddh International Circuit which hosted three F1 races between 2011 and 2013.

Glad to see that track back in some capacity, really enjoyed it on the video games even if the F1 races themselves were all Vettel-dominated borefests.

Miller finally gets his first (and possibly last too) win in 2022. Reminding me of Loris Capirossi (2007) who also won the Japanese GP with Ducati before leaving to Suzuki. Good to see both Martin and Binder returning to the podium. All championship contenders don't perform well today: Quartararo at #8; Bastianini at #9; Espargaro had a technical issue, so he started from pit and only finish at #16; Bagnaia...another unforced error, on the last lap when he tried to overtake Quartararo. Marquez finishes #4 and that's already better than expected. Asia raceweeks will surely be as unpredictable as the first 4 races.

What a random result after weeks of Bagnaia domination! All the title protagonists taking the week off to let the support acts have a lil' bit of limelight.

Quite a little bit late, for I was still coping with the football tragedy in my country that time.

Good to see KTM winning again with Miguel Oliveira. Jack Miller is somehow now a title contender after that 2nd place (40 pts behind Quartararo). Felt sorry to Zarco for being given a team order not to overtake Bagnaia. His pace were the best among the top 5 in the last 6 laps, so he could've won his first MotoGP race! Quartararo surprisingly didn't have the same race pace as he did earlier in Mandalika. Espargaro also wasted a lot of crucial points by having a long-lap penalty for his inappropriate overtake on Binder. The race was delayed until 4pm GMT+7, so I fell asleep for awhile. (such a shame Rara wasn't there being the shaman).

Martin will start on pole, followed my M. Márquez on #2. Bagnaia-Espargaro-Quartararo starting at 3,4,5 will be interesting as well.

Couldn't agree more!

I actually screamed when seeing Quartararo went wide then crashed several laps later.

Shame on Bagnaia getting overtaken by Rins and Márquez on the last lap and lost 9 crucial points, but congratulations to Suzuki for winning a race on their final season.

Felt sorry on Miller as well who was out of the title race after an accident with the younger Márquez.

Really hoping Espargaro & Aprilia beat Bastianini for the 3rd place as I really love an underdog story.

Jorge Martin has set a new pole lap record at Sepang, the first ever pole lap to hit 1.57:xxx! ohmy.gif Bagnaia starts at #9, while Quartararo is at #12. Bastianini starts at #2, eight positions ahead of Espargaro. Race will start at 3pm (GMT+8).

Plot twists in both Moto3 and Moto2! ohmy.gif

British rider John McPhee, starting from #22, won his first Moto3 race in 2 years after overtaking 4 riders at once at Turn 14 during the last lap! Sadly, he has to leave the class next year because of age limitation and doesn't have enough money for a Moto2 seat.

Tony Arbolino wins the Moto2 race, but the championship leader Ai Ogura makes (probably) the worst blunder ever this season as he crashed out in the last lap while outperforming Augusto Fernandez. The Japanese rider would've had a 13,5 crucial lead (18,5 if he had successfully overtaken Arbolino) from The Spanish. Now Fernandez leads the championship by 9,5 points.

You got it wrong this time! laugh.gif

Pecco could just play safe in Valencia, while I fully doubt Espargaro will beat Bastianini at this point.

I did yes, I just thought the way this season has ebbed and flowed we were almost certainly due another huge twist but twas not to be. At least Fabio did just about enough to take it to final race but he's been in such poor form this second half of the year that Pecco could not even turn up in Valencia and he'd still be mega favourite.
