I think timespan that nominations can be eligible is something like late October to the following October, so Lacey's performance during the postpartum psychosis storyline will have been eligible for this year's NTAs, even though that storyline would have influenced the voters for last year's NTAs due when the ceremony falls, if that makes sense. It's also why Planet Earth II wasn't nominated this year. |

Wonderful outcome for Emmerdale, but i am a bit shocked Coronation Street got the best newcomer award, i dont think the best nominee won.
