WSBK test Portimao

The day has not ended yet, but Bautista, Rea and Rinaldi are lapping under the Motogp race lap record of 2022 and theoretically if Rinaldi gets all his sectors right he would be getting very close to Bagnaina's all time lap record.

Appologize for not giving more hype on this, for I was too busy with college. Will start updating WSBK and MotoGP now.

Bautista and Ducati were insane in Australia and Indonesia. He's definitely winning the title again this year.
Also looking forward to the first MotoGP race in Portugal. It's the first MotoGP season that starts in Europe since 2006! Bagnaia is about to break the number #1 curse in MotoGP in the 00s era.

I think Bastianiani could give him a close run.

From the Portimao test, Alex Marquez, VR46 duo, and Vinales might be winning a race this season! cheeseblock.png

Marini really could be one to watch this season.

Not a good way for Moto GP to start the year. Fingers crossed Pol will be back with us soon.

Marc and Bagnaia started from #1 and #2 respectively for the first ever MotoGP sprint race.

And I agree with Aleix, 42 race starts are too many and risky for riders' safety.

Bagnaia won the first sprint race and is starting first tomorrow.

The awarding is identical as well. laugh.gif

Pecco is finally untouchable in the opening series, unlike the last 2 seasons where he flopped really hard. Viñales is probably the luckiest rider this season where he could fully taste a good Aprilia bike.

Felt sorry to Oliveira for getting his home race ruined by Marquez. Marc's definitely getting a nightmare for the next couple of days (and I hate to see it).

Man that was such a reach by MM going for that move. As it turns out he's the one that ends up having to miss a race not Oliveira but this has been a brutal opening weekend with 4 injured riders.

Marquez brothers are your first 2 race poles.

Also looking forward to Morbidelli who is starting 4th.

Bagnaia still not cut out those silly mistakes then. That means we have an exciting title battle in prospect. Top drive from Bezzecchi clap.gif

A rather bizarre edit on the BT Sport highlights, see if you can figure out why:

Both Marc Márquez and Bastianini are still absent for the next race, unfortunately. Márquez is still considered as the King of COTA, while Bastianini was last year's race winner.

Pecco "win it or bin it" Bagnaia back in FULL effect this weekend.

Yay for a deserving winner last weekend. Been rooting for Rins since he raced so well at Sprint. Good to see Marini getting his first podium as well.
