01 Ireland xx (UK) 02 Finland 03 Croatia xx (Sweden) 04 Cyprus 05 Luxembourg 06 Australia 07 Lithuania 08 Ukraine 09 Poland 10 Iceland ------ 11 Portugal 12 Slovenia xx (Germany) 13 Azerbaijan 14 Moldova 15 Serbia So when Serbia, Portugal, and Slovenia were announce as the first 3 qualifiers, I definitely thought we were heading for the same as I had a few years ago (where literally all of my least faves qualified 😂). Thankfully that turned around! 'The Tower' is actually my 2nd fave competing song tonight, that performance really was not it (that when I knew it - when it was already only a borderline qualifier - was dead and buried). I was surprised at how into 'grito' I was, but I'm a sucker for a basic bop - still not surprised at Iceland failing to qualify though! Bambie was as fantastic as I expected: will do big things in the final. And 'Dizzy' was amazing... Let down slightly by the vocals, hopefully he can get that under control on Saturday! |
