81 - DAVE STEWART & COLIN BLUNSTONE – What Becomes Of The Broken Hearted (Colin Bluntstone, used to like him,had a couple of hits in the early 70's and was in the Zombies in the 60's)
DURAN DURAN – Planet Earth (their first Top of the pops,I think) TOYAH – It’s A Mystery(every time I remember this I keep hearing her lisp) THE TEARDROP EXPLODES – Reward (I remember buying their album because of this track) JOE DOLCE MUSIC THEATRE – Shaddap You Face (hated this - but I remember Rob saying he bought this) KIM WILDE – Kids In America 87 - BRUCE WILLIS – Respect Yourself (should have worn a stained & torn vest with an ak47 over his shoulder and he would have got to #1 ) AL JARREAU – Moonlighting (coincidence, was this not the theme from moonlighting starring afore mentioned Bruce Willis) 70 - LEE MARVIN – Wand’rin Star (was the b side not Clint Eastwood and "I talk to the trees" THE BEATLES – Let It Be (must have been one of the last times they were on tv while they were together) 03 - MANFRED MANN – My Name Is Jack (TOTP 6-6-68) RICHARD ASHCROFT – A Song For The Lovers 2 good songs Keep them coming Mark, this is making me remember some of these performances. |

97.................. didnt hold much for me tbh 04................. detested the cha cha slide, blues 'breathe easy' was their best... 70.................. jucy lucy 'who do you love' was brilliant .. 92.................. nothing there for me.. 99................. strange how both britney and christinas first hit were imho their best... poor year. |
