So here we are, at the final stage of BJSC LX, time to find out which one of the remaining 32 tracks has that winning quality ;O ▶ RULES As with the semi finals, votes must be sent in the traditional BJSC manner: 12 - your favourite track 10 8 7 6 5 4 3 2 1 - your 10th favourite Send the votes to me via PM - and you have until 11.59pm on Sunday, November 17th to do so If you have an entry in the final and you fail to vote before the deadline you'll receive a 33% deduction on your final score! Very decent final!
I count 14 songs that I MUST point and there's bound to be creeping grower hits too so this could be difficult. |

Voting now, seven countries in my commiserations, ouch! Seems like all the right songs made the final aside from one or two and the AQ's are strong too!

THIRTEEN songs in my commiserations. that's ridiculous! only one absolutely amazing song which is essentially an 11/10 and a few other great ones but on the whole consistency was the issue.

I'll cry if Bad4U or Colour My Heart do very well. I was going to enter with both of those

Seems kinda quiet in here recently. I do hope people haven't suddenly forgotten about BJSC en masse.
Have voted now. Came up with a top 10 I was v happy with and one biggish commiseration but beyond that the quality is a bit lower than the last few contests. Lots of songs that are just 'quite good'. Having heard all the songs now I still am thinking Cut Copy will be a pretty clear cut (no pun intended) winner. |

Voted. With Bray that the quality doesn't seem quite as good, but my top 10's really quite good! Some songs that have grown a fair bit too since listening to the semi(s).

I don't think I've ever seen a more consistent final - deciding the top half of my votes was easy, but there was seriously about TEN countries fighting for the 1-3 points Feel PRIVILEGED if you just managed to make the final 10.
Semi 2 was still far better for me, only one from Semi 1 made my votes in the end (though quite a lot came close obviously) This post has been edited by Chez Wombat: 17th November 2013, 12:44 PM |
