Next step: let's make some other countries return too (idc if they want to). Yes, I do have a list. Just some other countries I explored from the time I was last active in BJSC, around 89-99 (I have no idea how active these countries are now, or when they last participated, but I noticed they hadn’t confirmed for BJSC 132); Deandria (Mattias) Medhelnia (mdh) Ethanola (Ethan) Triangledonia (Spinning Adam) Azure (The-BrightPlaces) Pupok (Lotti) #00274E (jakewild) N-Lazone (Nick F1) Ramrynia (Ryan) Greenfroze (Freeze) Syndare (randomfurlong) Desbuanda (Noahspike) Florina (Klaus) Cadelicia (Oliver) Sandëborg (AdamAloud) Brechtoria (Bradders) Daehun (Oricon) Unovia (Liam) Bignia-Zaragovina (Jahq) Tinnmark (Jerrick) Ajanaeda (Josh) Palmyra (CianS) Jayrusalem (Jay) Would be nice to see some of these return someday too. |

I thought Triangledonia were also permabanned for voting in alphabetical order or something in the semis?
I just remember being furious because their entry to that particular contest was frickin amazing! |

Not to my recollection. We don’t hand out many permabans! We might have DQd him and banished him for a month to sit on a naughty step (I really can’t recall) but not a permaban for that.
Fairly sure it’s moot as he’s like locked his account anyway. |

Iirc all that happened was his votes were rejected and he was given the deduction.

Greenfroze took a break for a bit but they have been back as regular participants for quite a while now, they just tend to usually confirm pretty last minute. The rest are currently inactive as of BJSC 131 but several of them did enter at least once in 2020. |

I missed this until I just noticed the countries back in the contest but really good to see, I actually joined a few contests after Aquafina last took part so until 132 I hadn't been in the same contest. I think 6 years is easily long enough for Aquafina and I 100% think this was the right decision for both countries.

Hi everyone!!
Just want to formally confirm what I imagine everyone either already assumed or forgot about. We were so happy to welcome back Lee and Wardy and that is how it will stay. Thanks everyone for welcoming them back and letting the past remain there. We’ve been so happy to see both back and proving us with some great tracks and look forward to seeing what they’ll continue to bring to the table in 2022 and beyond!! For now, neither will be able to host anything within BJSC but we of course reserve our right to change our minds (noting Wardy just pure smashed it with hosting the Awards) on this in the future. Thanks everyone for a great 2021 and the amazing hosting efforts and community spirit during a tough year for us all. Let’s keep that up in 2022 as we head towards our 15th Birthday! Love, Your mod team |

Of course it goes without saying but thank you for your generosity BJSC mods for permitting me to remain in this beloved forum competition. I’ve definitely enjoyed being back and participating by listening to others entries as well as sending a mixture of genres myself in the last year. I was humbled to get two Top 10 hits in successive finals at the start of the year too. I am very happy that forgiveness is a quality shown here in this community and I wish to restate once again to everybody just how sorry I am for misleading the entire community and staging a big drama scene for quite some time during 2017/18. I am very grateful to have been given another chance to put things right again and I hope in this last year I’ve done that and regained some trust.
Thank you again for this provision, let’s make 2022 another positive year for BJSC! |
