What do you want as Leona's next single?
I think Another Love Song if she can get Radio 1 or Capital support. Otherwise, Power to appeal to her Radio 2 support. So in the poll I voted ALS. |

She would never get the right kind of support for ALS unless a miracle happened. Even though it is the best song on the album.
Power or I Got You as they cater for the most audiences. This post has been edited by Joe.: 14th September 2015, 03:26 PM |

If the Jingle Bell Ball performance is true, Capital might be willing to support it?

As much as I adore 'Power', 'I Got You' is the obvious single imo.
Since it is only just over the 3 minute mark, I hope there's a single version with a feature on it if it does become a single. This post has been edited by Scene: 14th September 2015, 03:45 PM |

So difficult but i love Power, would love to hear that on the radio. I Got You is a great radio tune but doubt she'll release another song called IGY.
Love You Knew Me When, i keep going back to that song, could be the standout for me along with Power. |

I hope I Got You is the next single and Island/Def Jam have amazing rappers on their roster, time to get one of them on the track in order to try and convince radio to get on board. |

I Got You is painfully average, I seriously don't get the love. Another Love Song is the only one I think is worthy of being a single but it doesn't fit, as Joe (I think) said on another thread, it's totally different to the mature AC feel of the other singles. Power is probably best for the radio 2 demographic, or I Got You as much as I don't care for it.

Gone for YKMW as it is coming up to the winter season and if it got a prime time slot on X factor/strictly then I think that would remind people why she was called 'the voice' etc. ballads are very much a winter thing (and good album sellers in the adult contemporary market).
I would be happy to see I Got You, Another Love Song or Power as singles as well. So happy that there are actually a good handful of tracks which I think would be great singles. This post has been edited by GTH: 14th September 2015, 06:12 PM |

Actually, I agree, YKMW would be a far better winter single and will benefit the most from the type of shows that are on in the run-up to Christmas. Releasing IGY in the new year may be better when the market is less busy and the label can take advantage of that to make IGY a hit of some kind.
1. Fire Under My Feet (June 2015) 2. I Am (July 2015) 3. You Knew Me When (November 2015) 4. I Got You (February 2016) 5. Power (May 2016) 6. Another Love Song (Aug 2016) |

Isn't there time to release two more singles this year?
I Got You released soon, with an impact date in October. You Knew Me When released start/middle November with an impact date in December. |

Ideally she'd focus just one of October/November with big promo like Children in Need, Graham Norton and X Factor or Strictly. There is no way it wouldn't be a hit if she had that promo. That way that one song would be on the radio throughout December too. |

I think they need something out really soon to help keep the album afloat, then in November/December time release YKMW to shift the album. |

I don't think spreading the good promo during the winter season over two singles is a good idea. Better to try just solidify one as a hit now. If she does that then it would be easier to get support for a follow up in the new year. Leona is in serious need of a hit single, if she wants any support with the next album (assuming there will be one).

"Another Love Song" if the Capital Jingle Ball is true. Could get her back on radio and score another top 10 hit if all goes well with the song's release.
"You Knew Me When" could do really well with the backing of big TV slots like X-factor/Graham Norton/Strictly/Children In Need/Jonathon Ross/Alan Carr/Royal Variety Performance etc and really push the album. Will be interesting to see what the label decides to do. Hopefully they'll move on quickly to the next single, whatever it is they choose. |
