Benson Boone could reclaim the top spot from Beyoncé, or Hozier could potentially score a first #1 on the singles chart. On the new releases front, Glass Animals return with Creatures In Heaven while Charli XCX drops two new tracks with Club Classics/B2B, along with singles from Imagine Dragons, David Guetta/OneRepublic, Ava Max, Chappell Roan, Khalid, Kehlani, Peggy Gou, Sia/Labrinth, Snow Strippers, Cage The Elephant, Good Neighbours and Empire Of The Sun

A busy week sees The Libertines in contention for #1 after nine years away with All Quiet On The Eastern Esplanade, alongside J. Cole's mixtape Might Delete Later, with other significant releases including Vampire Weekend's return with Only God Was Above Us, The Black Keys' Ohio Players, Conan Gray's Found Heaven and Benson Boone's Fireworks & Rollerblades. There's also new albums out from Khruangbin, Feeder, The K's, Bryson Tiller, Lizzy McAlpine, Bob Vylan, Mount Kimbie, Fabiana Palladino, ERRA, Vegyn, Novo Amor, Tori Kelly, Alpha Wolf, Phosphorescent, Hawkwind, Jane Weaver and Dead Pony - plus a deluxe issue of Doja Cat's recent album with Scarlet 2 CLAUDE

Official Charts Report

QUOTE
Benson Boone is ahead in the race to return to Number 1 with Beautiful Things this Friday, but he needs to deal with Beyoncé and Hozier first; TEXAS HOLD ‘EM (2) and Too Sweet are both less than 1,000 chart units behind.

After becoming his first UK Top 10 single last week, Artemas’s i like the way you kiss me is on track to break into the Top 5 (5).

Dasha could finally surge into the Top 10, with Austin predicted to rise seven to a brand new peak (8).

Ella Henderson & Rudimental’s Alibi could also hit new heights, thanks to the release of a new remix featuring Natasha Bedingfield.

NewEra’s Birds in the Sky is looking to fly higher too, up four midweek (16).

J Cole’s H.Y.B ft. Bas & Central Cee is predicted to debut at Number 20, following the release of Cole’s fourth mixtape Might Delete Later.

Wonder if Glass Animals will do anything or if they'll be a one-hit wonder forevermore. Sounds like they are pulling out all the stops for another hit. Couldn't really be more commercial.

Silly question from noob me, but will the Natasha Bedingfield version of Alibi be credited in the charts? Or it will be the original version? How’s that work when there’s several vocal versions with guests?

It won’t be credited, unless the label request it to happen.

Could be a lot of new entries on the album charts and some of those long runners may slip out of the top 40, hard to predict who number one will be, yesterday Black Keys and Vampire Weekend were ahead of The Libertines on Amazon’s charts

I feel like "Gooey" having a third of a billion streams on Spotify and the next album having a billion all up should disqualify them regardless of chart history stats.

Glass Animals trying so hard to replicate their success with Heat Waves with this. It's awful.
