Hi Riser!
Nice to see "Lovers In A Past Life" at the top, with two other great songs behind it, with "End Of Beginning" and "We Can't Be Friends (Wait For Your Love)", the big gains for "Saturn", "Austin", the return for "Feather", the debuts for "I Dont Wanna Wait", "Too Sweet", "Illusion "I Like The Way You Kiss Me" in the top 10 and the debuts for "Green & Gold", "Obsessed", "Happier", "II MOST WANTED", "Espresso", "Forget About Us", "Slow It Down", "After Hours" and "Birds In The Sky". Great chart! Take care. |

Hey dude.
I didn't expect to see lovers in a past life climb to #1 here. I'm really surprised actually. The only track I've really enjoyed from him recently is Miracle. We can't be friends is still superb. That's a fab climb for it. I'm still so enamoured. I don't wanna wait, too sweet & illusion are all great as well. illusion should enter in a couple of weeks alongside whatever I'm charting from her album if anything. I must say I was quite disappointed? I like the way you kiss me and obsessed are great as well. The last few months have been epic with new music releases. I sometimes feel like there's no time to take anything in. That's a great climb for Austin. It's one of my favourite tracks right now. Fab chart! |

Sup Jordan!
1. Calvin Harris & RagnBone Man Lovers In A Past Life [10-1] I'm really not that taken by this, definitely one of Calvin's weakest for me. 2. Djo End Of Beginning [7-2] I enjoyed this for a while but I have to say I've quickly grown bored of it! 3. Ariana Grande We Cant Be Friends (Wait For Your Love) [5-3] 4. Dua Lipa Training Season [18-1-4] 5. David Guetta & OneRepublic I Dont Wanna Wait YESSS!! Always love to see my current number one do well in other personal charts this is kinda lazy and generic like most of Guetta's recent output and yet such a massive earworm! 6. Hozier Too Sweet Definitely surreal to see him get a number one after all this time! 7. Dua Lipa Illusion I've listened to the album and I have to say there are better songs that I would picked as a single ahead of this one. It's a shame the album looks like it's going to underperform, Dua is one of the best pop stars around at the moment 8. Benson Boone Beautiful Things [16-5-3-8] 9. Artemas I Like The Way You Kiss Me So many new entries in your top ten this month this is great, and it's nice to hear a song that sounds a bit different doing well! 10. Beyonce Texas Hold Em [10-2-10] Lovely symmetry 12. Olivia Rodrigo Obsessed Very much Olivia by numbers but I like it! 13. Rudimental x Skepsis feat. Charlotte Plank & Riko Dan Green & Gold Quite enjoying this at the moment too, deserves to be doing better! 16. Beyonce & Miley Cyrus II Most Wanted 17. Sabrina Carpenter Espresso This is slowly growing on me, but it still sounds like a very unlikely number one, at least to my ears 18. Sabrina Carpenter Feather [23-32-x-18] 19. Dasha Austin [30-19] 20. Good Neighbours Home [20-15-20] 22. Perrie Forget About Us You can tell straightaway that this is written by Ed Sheeran! It's good but not amazing, hope she has better lined up. 23. Benson Boone Slow It Down 24. Teddy Swims Lose Control [25-13-14-24] 25. Ella Henderson feat. Rudimental Alibi [18-9-11-25] 26. Kygo & Ava Max Whatever [22-8-13-26] 30. Taylor Swift The Tortured Poets Department Are you not enjoying 'Fortnight' as much as this then? I'm very underwhelmed by the album if I'm honest. My daughter is obviously hailing it an instant classic but I just find it a bit slow and boring, a few songs aside. It just plods along when it should soar. At this point her name is way bigger than her music! 33. Dua Lipa Houdini [2-1-1-7-16-33] 37. Tate McRae Exes [17-4-3-12-37] 38. The Last Dinner Party Nothing Matters [4-9-38] 40. Usher Kissing Strangers [6-17-40] Particularly great chart this month |

We'll see if I regret this later I didn't expect to see lovers in a past life climb to #1 here. I'm really surprised actually. The only track I've really enjoyed from him recently is Miracle. I haven't listened except for 'These Walls' which I do quite like. I'll have to agree, it's been a good year for music so far! Thanks for commenting Sup Jordan! Hi Mango!1. Usher Kissing Strangers [6-17-40] Particularly great chart this month 1. That seems to be the majority opinion here! Hopefully his next release will be better for you. 2. It was very very close to my #1, and actually #3 was too! It'll be interesting to see if Djo can get another hit, but I'm guessing this will be a one-off. 5. I 100% agree Not sure if it'll be my next #1 but I won't mind if it is! 6. Yes, and so richly deserved! 7. Interesting! I reckon I'll check out some tracks even if I don't listen to the whole thing. Was always going to be tough to match the performance of Future Nostalgia, tbf. 9. I didn't realize I had four new entries until you pointed it out to me 12. I agree, just possibly too Olivia-by-numbers for me to like it more 13. Agreed, I thought the same about 'Dancing Is Healing' too. 17. It has definitely clicked for me in the past week or so. I think nice weather will help it a lot even though espresso isn't something I'd normally associate with nice weather 22. Wait!!! I actually had no clue it was written by Ed That does make sense I suppose. Good for both of them! 30. I'm actually not enjoying 'Fortnight' at all But I'm still going to listen to the whole album and see if it clicks. From what I've heard so far, I'm expecting a lot of the songs to be too slow with the occasional gem in between. Thanks for commenting |
